Anti-ICE protesters clashed with the NYPD Thursday night outside a Bronx hospital where a “criminal illegal” migrant was being treated after he was shot in the neck by a federal agent.

About 300 demonstrators gathered outside NewYork-Presbyterian Allen Hospital, calling for Immigration and Customs Enforcement to get “off our streets” after the agent-involved shooting in the Marble Hill neighborhood earlier in the day.

“From Palestine to Mexico, all these walls have got to go,” the group chanted.

“We want ICE off our streets. No justice, no peace,” they bellowed.

Other chants included “F–k ICE,” “quit your job,” “the people united will never be defeated,” and “no ICE in New York.”

Tensions were high and at one point the anti-ICE mob and police got into a shoving match of sorts, according to footage.

Officers were trying to keep the protesters at bay with barricades when the agitators grabbed hold of one of the barriers and pushed back.

A brief struggle ensued and at least one protesters was arrested in the chaos.

While things were heated outside the hospital, inside, the 28-year-old man from the Dominican Republic, with reported ties to the Trinitarios, was recovering after an ICE agent shot him during “a targeted enforcement operation,” the Department of Homeland Security said in a statement.

The shooting happened outside around 4 p.m. on Marble Hill Avenue when the feds tried to arrest the “criminal illegal alien” who was in a car with a child in the back seat and things quickly went south, according to the DHS and sources.

He was shot in the neck but is expected to survive.

The wounded man, whom the DHS said has ties to the Trinitarios gang, was seen sitting handcuffed on the pavement while nearly a dozen agents swarmed and kept bystanders back.

A 5-year-old boy believed to be the man’s son was inside the same car when the migrant was shot, according to cops. The child was unharmed.

The migrant has “a prior criminal conviction for grand larceny, and multiple prior arrests for assault, robbery, possession of drugs, and weapons possession,” the DHS said in a statement.

“This criminal illegal alien was arrested by the NYPD on December 7, 2023, but was released into the community a few days later by reckless Democrat sanctuary policies that put American lives at risk,” the statement read.
