Patrick Clancy reveals what Lindsay told him about killing their three children: ‘It was like a dream’

Patrick Clancy shed a chilling light on his ex-wife’s frame of mind at the time she killed the couple’s three young children — recalling how she compared it to a dream.

Patrick gave his first interview to CBS’ “60 Minutes” since the murder trial of his former spouse, Lindsay Clancy, ended in an 11-1 mistrial, revealing new grim details about their conversations in the immediate aftermath of the January 2023 killings of 5-year-old Cora, 3-year-old Dawson and 8-month-old Callan.

“Did you ask Lindsay why she did it?” CBS’ correspondent Ross Douthat asked Patrick Clancy in the interview that aired Sunday night.

“I asked her if she remembered it,” he said.

“She said it was like a dream. And — she remembered it much in the way you would remember a dream after waking up,” he said.

Patrick Clancy, who has been the target of threats and what his lawyers called “a relentless, escalating and destructive defamation campaign” for months leading up to the shocking non-verdict, remarried in April.

He and his new wife, Rachel Danis, an infertility specialist, revealed during the prime-time interview that they are starting a family and look forward to telling their future kids about Cora, Dawson and Callan before they were tragically slain by his ex.
