Three people stabbed at Westchester Community College; two suspects in custody
Three people were stabbed and two others taken into custody at the suburban campus of Westchester Community College on Wednesday, county police said.

County cops responded to a 911 call at the sprawling Valhalla campus about 12:40 p.m. on reports of multiple people injured, according to police.
The three victims were transported to local hospitals. Their conditions were not immediately available and police have not released the identities of those involved.
A knife was recovered at the scene, police said.
“The full circumstances of the incident are under investigation by the Westchester County Police patrol officers and detectives,” the department said. “No other suspects are being sought and there is no continuing threat to the college community.”
In an email, college officials said county cops are leading the investigation “with the full cooperation and support” of the school.
“Our top priority is ensuring a safe and welcoming campus enviroment for our students, faculty and staff,” the statement said. “There was an incident on campus that has been resolved.”
The 80-year-old college is part of the SUNY system with about 9,700 enrolled students.
