Bianchi, 35, was last been seen Tuesday morning at his home in East Greenbush, located just south of Albany, where he left behind his cellphone, wallet and car.
A cause of death was not immediately announced.
“The East Greenbush Police Department extends its deepest condolences to Dominick’s family, loved ones, and all those affected by this tragic loss,” Detective Sergeant Michael Guadagnino said in a statement Sunday night.
“Our thoughts are with them as they navigate this incredibly difficult time.”
Bianchi’s wife, Julianna Zyra, whom he married just months ago, had pleaded for her husband to come home — and revealed that he had been struggling recently with his mental health.
