Lady Gaga’s baby name finally revealed
A star is born.
Lady Gaga and her fiancé, Michael Polansky, have named their baby Rose, TMZ reported Thursday.

According to the birth certificate the outlet obtained, their daughter’s full name is Rose Bean Polansky. She was born June 9 at 11:19 p.m. at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
The couple and their reps have yet to comment on the baby news.
An insider told People that the name Rose is inspired by the song “La Vie En Rose,” which Gaga famously covered in the 2018 movie, “A Star Is Born.”
The musician previously showed her love for the song with a large tattoo on her spine of a single rose on a long stem with the words, “la vie en rose” written in script beside it.
As for the little one’s middle name, Bean, the outlet reported it likely comes from activist Carl Bean, who inspired Gaga’s beloved song “Born This Way.”
On Sept. 11, Page Six confirmed the couple had welcomed their first child privately. However, no further details were released at the time.
Page Six later obtained exclusive photos that showed them stepping out for a walk as a family of three in Northern California.
In the pics, the Grammy winner — born Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta — held the newborn against her chest while walking alongside the entrepreneur.
Following the exciting news, a source told People that Lady Gaga, 40, and Polansky, 42, “both took time off of work this summer to be with” their new baby.
The insider said that they “both beam when they talk about being parents,” and that Polansky “seems lighter, happier.”

Before this most recent outing, the “A Star Is Born” actress had remained largely out of the public eye since wrapping her Mayhem Ball tour in April. She was last seen taking a selfie with a fan in Northern California in August.
Although she initially kept the birth under wraps, the global superstar had previously hinted at her desire to become a mom.
In November 2025, she told Rolling Stone, “Being a mom is the thing I want the most.”
Gaga also gushed that Polansky was “gonna be a beautiful father” and that they both were “really excited” about starting a family together.
Gaga and Polansky began dating in 2019 and announced their engagement at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
In March, she said during an appearance on Bruno Mars’ “Romantic Radio” iHeartRadio livestream that the two were “getting married soon.”
And in September, an insider told the Daily Mail that the couple’s friends believe they may have secretly eloped.
“No one has seen her or heard from her in over a month,” a source told the outlet on Sept. 8. “Everyone in her circle thinks she eloped with Michael and is on her honeymoon now, trying to make a baby.”
