Nashville expected to be scorching hot for today’s game

The Jets and Titans will play their season opener amid scorching hot temperatures in Nashville this afternoon. It’s expected to be around 93 degrees around kickoff and CBS Sports sideline reporter Aditi Kinkhabwala reported before the game that the “feels like” temp on the field was nearing triple digits.

Jarvis Brownlee Jr. returns to Nashville

Jarvis Brownlee Jr. is back in the Music City for the first time since he was traded to the Jets last September for a par of draft picks. Brownlee was taken by the Titans in the fifth round of the 2024 draft and appeared in 19 games for Tennessee during his stint there.
With D’Angelo Ponds out for today’s game, Brownlee will not only be making his return to where his young NFL career began, he’ll be doing so with some added responsibility.
