Holdout Lindsay Clancy juror Michael P. Desronvil believes being black Republican may have put target on his back

The holdout juror in the Lindsay Clancy trial allegedly believes he may be “getting targeted” because he’s a black Republican, according to a YouTuber who is acting as one of his representatives.

Michael P. Desronvil, 48 – who triggered a hung jury after he refused to side with the 11 others on the panel to find the killer mom not guilty by reason of insanity – reportedly had an off-camera interview with YouTuber Ray Marcel.

“We started talking. [Desronvil] thinks he knows why he might be getting targeted. He’s a Republican. He is a black Republican. He has conservative views,” said Marcel, who posted a video to his “Fugitive TV” channel Tuesday recounting the hour-long conversation he said he had with the holdout.

“He believes he might be getting targeted because of that,” the YouTuber said, claiming, “he was on a juror panel with people of the Democratic Party.”

Desronvil’s attorney, Edward Paltzik, announced that Marcel is now funneling all media inquiries for his client, adding that “No one else is authorized to speak for our Hero.”

Palzik, who has previously represented President Trump, described Desronvil as a Trump-loving patriot.

“This American Hero and Champion of Justice loves the United States of America as the greatest country in the world; cherishes our sacred Constitution as the pinnacle of human liberty; and supports our amazing leader, President Donald J. Trump, as a fellow defender of common-sense, liberty, and sanity,” he wrote on X.

“Rest assured that the evil people who have so viciously attacked this American Hero and Champion of Justice will be held accountable to the maximum extent of the law and beyond,” he added.

Desronvil, of Bridgewater, spoke out publicly for the first time Thursday to defend himself against intense online backlash — insisting, “I didn’t have any doubts” Clancy was guilty of murdering her three children.

“As I tried to explain different possible theories during deliberation, I kept getting cut off as if I had doubts based on the evidence presented,” the holdout said. “Based on all the physical evidence, key witnesses, and what the prosecution presented, I thought it was enough proof that she (Clancy) knew exactly what she was doing and planned.”

Clancy, 36, was on trial for strangling her three young children, Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, 8 months, with exercise bands in the basement of their Duxbury, Massachusetts, home.

After seven days of deliberation and three impasse notes, Judge William Sullivan declared a mistrial in the high-profile case.

The killer mom is due back in court Sept. 29 for a hearing where the next steps in her case will likely be revealed — if not before then.

Prosecutors can either choose to retry Clancy on the same charges, downgrade the charges, arrange a plea deal or drop the case altogether.
