Fundraiser for Times Square stabbing victim Erin Piacenti’s infant daughter nears $500K

A fundraiser to support the infant daughter of Erin Piacenti, the Bank of America exec stabbed to death by a deranged woman in Times Square this week, has raised nearly $500,000 as supporters eagerly opened their wallets to help however they can.

The GoFundMe page was set up after Piacenti, 32, was slain Monday in what the fundraiser called ” a random, senseless, and unprovoked attack in Times Square.”

“Becoming a mother was Erin’s lifelong ambition, and Madison gave her the greatest possible joy,” the fundraiser said of the new mom’s 5-month-old daughter with husband Frank.

Piacenti, 32, was killed in the unprovoked attack by Pamela Cisneros on Monday — which the fundraiser noted “was Erin’s first day returning to work after her maternity leave.”

Cisneros was shot and killed when she charged at a group of NYPD cops brandishing a pair of kitchen knives after threatening to kill them and ignoring numerous commands to drop the weapons.

“Erin’s life was defined not by the circumstances of her death, but instead by the way she lived,” reads the heartbreaking fundraiser that has raised around $460,000 with 5,000 donations by early Thursday.

“Erin was deeply devoted to her family and friends, exceptionally bright and accomplished, and was someone who brought warmth and energy to the people around her,” it said.

“This fund has been established to support Madison and her future. It offers the many people who loved Erin, knew her, worked with her, or have simply been moved by her story a way to honor Erin by helping care for the daughter she loved more than anything.”

Piacenti soared to a coveted vice president position at Bank of America, lived in an idyllic home along a wooded lane in tony Chester, New Jersey, and recently celebrated her second wedding anniversary with her husband.

The growing family had just returned from a family road trip in the days before she was killed, and was looking forward to what the future held.

“That life changed incomprehensibly in an instant,” the fundraiser noted.
