“I have to say, probably not,” the New York congresswoman — who has split from her longtime fiance Riley Roberts — told TMZ with a hearty laugh.

“No foul to people who do, and of course, how you define that is very different from person to person,” she told the gossip site, which caught up with her on Capitol Hill. “But I think a lot of politics, sometimes, at least for me is about values and being aligned in values is tremendously important.”

Last month, as the 36-year-old went Instagram-public with her journey to freeze her eggs, The Post exclusively reported that “The Squad” socialist had quietly split from Roberts.

When asked specifically if Roberts was supportive of her pursuing egg freezing, she demurred, saying only, “All of my loved ones have been very supportive.”

Ocasio-Cortez and TMZ also discussed having kids while in office — as rumors swirl that she’s seeking a 2028 presidential run.

“For me, I make decisions about my whole life, it’s not ever just in a career context. It’s about how do I fit all of these things?” she said. “And I feel like my ambition is not just a career ambition, it’s about how do we get to soak up as much of this life as possible?”

“I was always raised as a family-first kind of person,” she added.

Roberts and Ocasio-Cortez got engaged in 2022 after dating on and off for more than a decade. The pair was together when the former waitress became the youngest person ever elected to Congress in 2018.

That year, she discussed her relationship with GQ, saying that being with Roberts, who is white, made her question whether she wanted to be in an interracial relationship.

She also said she believed men only think they want to be with a successful woman.

“The moment you start being yourself, they kind of freak out,” she told the mag. “I think it causes a conflict within them that they didn’t even anticipate. It’s not even a deception. It’s just, they uncover insecurities that they didn’t know were there.”

Rumors of their relationship being on the rocks had swirled for some time.

One Democratic operative who has encountered the couple in years past had a brutal assessment of their courtship, describing Roberts as “an awkward guy as a partner for a dynamic woman” like AOC.

“Whenever he was around at events, he never spoke,” the source said. “No one thought she actually liked him.”
