The naked nutjob who jumped off the Brooklyn Bridge is an activist against Kazakhstan’s government — and bragged he was going to make the daring leap on his birthday, his roommate revealed Monday.

“He was telling me he was going to do it,” Josh Karadag, 43, the roomie of accused jumper Galymzhan Abaildayev told The Post.

“Yesterday was his birthday,” he said, adding he was recently inspired by two people who leaped off the bridge last month.

“He said, ‘I’m gonna jump from the bridge and he did.’”

Abaildayev, 44, is facing several charges after he survived the wild nude jump off the north tower on the Manhattan side of the bridge.

The Brooklyn man erected several flags on top of the bridge, including a Kazakhstan one — because he’s a vocal opponent of the country.

“I always tell him, ‘Can you change anything in Kazakhstan? No, you can’t, so live your life, brother,’” said Karadag, a Turkish-born artist.

A YouTube page shows his biking adventures through the Big Apple.

“Batman will speech your text in Turkish, Kazakh, English or Russian on a social media or privately,” a description on his page bizarrely notes. “Declarations of love, wishes, of any nature, the text will be read out and published on my page if desired.”

Karadag said his roommate recently told him he led a boring, penniless life — and ignored his pleas not to leap off the bridge.

“I told him not to do it,” he said. “I told him he would leave his mother and father behind. He said, ‘I don’t mind.’”

“He never wanted to live,” he added. “It was obvious he was going to jump.”

Abadildayev — who is still hospitalized after surviving the 278-foot drop into the East River — was charged Monday with reckless endangerment, making graffiti, public lewdness, criminal trespass and disorderly conduct. 

The NYPD’s Harbor Unit fished him out of the river after he plunged in front of shocked, screaming onlookers. 

Footage captured the wacko holding onto a piece of clothing or bag above his head like a makeshift parachute as he leapt. 

He has yet to be arraigned. 

On Monday, his housemate said the duo formed a quick friendship over their respective countries after Karadag moved into the home in May. They also live with Abadildayev’s girlfriend, who is now distraught. 

“I saw his girlfriend outside this morning,” Karadag recalled. “She was too upset.”

Karadag described him as a “very respectful” pal troubled about the country’s prime minister, Oljas Bektenov.

A day before the jump into the river, Abadildayev railed against Meta “erasing videos about political stuff with the Kazakh prime minister,” according to Karadag. 

“The only thing that makes him crazy is the politics in Kazakhstan.”
