Ex-Pentagon UFO honcho claims photos show monolith-like structures on moon
It’s a real space oddity.
Former Pentagon UFO investigator Luis Elizondo claims the US government possesses unreleased photographs showing what appear to be giant monolith-like structures on the moon — and the images may go public soon.

“There’s also photographs that I don’t believe have been made public yet that show on the lunar surface what appear to be large monolithic structures with right angle cuts,” Elizondo said on Disclosure Tonight with Thomas Fessler on Tuesday.
The alleged structures evoke the mysterious lunar monoliths featured in Stanley Kubrick’s 1968 sci-fi classic “2001: A Space Odyssey,” where the towering rectangular objects have the power to engineer humanity’s evolution.
Elizondo, who headed the Pentagon’s Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program, claimed that photographs of the monoliths were likely to be released soon — and called the images “intriguing.”
The Trump administration has released previously classified “UFO files,” which have revealed numerous images of unidentified aerial phenomena, or UAPs, dating back 80 years.
The files have not contained proof of alien life, but have included images of well-documented moving orbs along with more purportedly disturbing phenomena.

A haunting image of a mysterious six-pointed object taken in East Asia was released in the last batch of files unsealed Friday.
The former Pentagon official has made other explosive claims about US knowledge of extraterrestrial phenomena — including that the feds picked up the famous space ship that allegedly crashed in Roswell in 1947.
“The United States has been involved in the recovery of objects, vehicles of unknown origin that are neither from our country or any other foreign country that we’re aware of,” Elizondo told NewsNation in 2024.
Other UFO files have claimed that China and Russia have collected downed UAPs and attempted to reverse-engineer them.
A NASA spokesperson told The Post the agency has mapped and captured images of the entirety of the moon’s surface and is unaware of any monoliths in their data.
