Two retired FDNY heroes who risked their lives responding to the 9/11 terror attacks were surprised with tickets to see the Knicks play in Game 5.
Firefighter Brian Kevan and Captain Pete Culkin were giving an interview about their love for the Knicks and the Big Apple when DraftKings shocked them with the tickets.

Delta also flew the heroes out to San Antonio as part of the surprise.
“When we pick a team, we pick that team for life!” said Culkin, who served 32 years and continues helping firefighters and their families through the FDNY Family Assistance Unit.

Stefan Bondy
With every previous front-office incarnation, the Knicks were star chasers.
They promised hope through the biggest names possible, the larger-than-life figures who were supposedly outfitted for the global media capital.
They chased LeBron James. Kevin Durant. Zion Williamson. They traded a developing roster for Carmelo Anthony, a remarkable offensive talent but a failure of his own shortcomings and a dysfunctional environment at 4 Penn Plaza.
They were the Lakers in theory but the total opposite in practice — unable to capitalize on the appeal of the biggest of markets, the most dedicated fanbase in the NBA and an iconic arena.
The Lakers had Hollywood blockbusters. The Knicks had Broadway flops.
