A Park Slope mom killed by her daughter in a grisly slay-suicide had been terrified of the younger woman, who was \u201cfighting demons\u2019\u2019 and toted around a knife in her pocket, a close neighbor said Sunday.<\/p>\n

Deshawn Jackson said the tragic 59-year-old mother, a vegan chef who law-enforcement sources identified as Olga Bracero,\u00a0would desperately call him for help over\u00a0her disturbed 23-year-old daughter Kayla Wilson, who she believed was having severe mental issues because of drugs.<\/p>\n

The pair were \u201cgood people,\u2019\u2019 Jackson said outside the doomed pair\u2019s Brooklyn brownstone in the trendy tree-lined neighborhood. But \u201cafter this Jamaican trip they went on, everything changed,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe mother told me that [Wilson] had smoked some bad marijuana and after that just wasn\u2019t the same.\u201c[Bracero] had called me and told me that \u2018[Wilson is] fighting demons and they were telling her to do bad things, can you please come help me?\u2019 \u201d he said.<\/p>\n

He added that Wilson \u201cwould tell me that the voices in her head are telling her to do it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jackson said the younger woman also routinely walked around with a knife.<\/p>\n

Shortly before 8 p.m. Saturday, police responded to the address over a report of an unresponsive female and found both women dead from multiple stab wounds.<\/p>\n

They were pronounced dead at the scene.Sources said investigators believe that Wilson\u00a0killed her mom then turned the knife on herself.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou never thought this would happen. I broke down. I cried,\u201d Jackson said. \u201cIt hit hard. It hit really hard.\u201d<\/p>\n

The grisly stabbings came two years after another murder-suicide in the building at 386 Second St.<\/p>\n

In January 2024, cook Jason Jackson fatally shot his partner, financial planner Olga Kirshenbaum, then shot himself dead.<\/p>\n
