{"id":8486,"date":"2026-09-09T17:38:59","date_gmt":"2026-09-09T17:38:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/metrotransitreview.com\/?p=8486"},"modified":"2026-09-09T17:38:59","modified_gmt":"2026-09-09T17:38:59","slug":"morning-joe-co-hosts-have-heated-on-air-shouting-match-over-israel-do-i-look-stupid-to-you","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/metrotransitreview.com\/?p=8486","title":{"rendered":"&#8216;Morning Joe&#8217; co-hosts have heated on-air shouting match over Israel: &#8216;Do I look stupid to you?&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>Joe Scarborough erupted at panelist Donny Deutsch during a heated on-air clash over a report that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was warned Hamas was planning a major attack shortly before the Oct. 7, 2023 massacre \u2014 at one point demanding, \u201cDo I look stupid to you?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/metrotransitreview.com\/?p=8484\">Hunter Biden\u2019s $LAPTOP meme coin rockets from $3 to $300 \u2014 then crashes within minutes<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The \u201cMorning Joe\u201d host grew visibly frustrated during the MS NOW broadcast on Wednesday as Deutsch repeatedly stressed Hamas\u2019 responsibility for the slaughter while Scarborough pressed him over the explosive Haaretz report and Netanyahu\u2019s handling of the alleged warning.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLook at me in my eyes,\u201d Scarborough told Deutsch. \u201cDo you think that I\u2019m going to be distracted by you saying what I\u2019ve said a million times?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Scarborough added that he had repeatedly called Hamas terrorists before demanding: \u201cNow, can we talk about Netanyahu, or do you just not want to talk about him?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Deutsch insisted he was not defending the Israeli leader.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t know what went down, and we don\u2019t know,\u201d Deutsch said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDoes that not concern you?\u201d Scarborough shot back. \u201cWe ask questions about 9\/11. Are you willing to ask questions about Netanyahu?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m willing to answer questions. I\u2019m willing to ask the questions,\u201d Deutsch replied.<\/p>\n<p>Scarborough told The Post that he and Deutsch frequently get heated during arguments, though viewers know it\u2019s an animated discussion between two friends.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDonny and I have been great friends for 20 years. We\u2019re both strong supporters of Israel,\u201d Scarborough told The Post.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe just had a disagreement today on whether we should talk about the Haaretz report and talk about what Netanyahu\u2019s responsibility was in it,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Scarborough said Deutsch \u201cfelt like any criticisms of Netanyahu would somehow overshadow the fact that October 7th was Hamas\u2019s fault.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe all have said for years that Hamas are terrorists, that they want to kill Jews, that they want to destroy the state of Israel, and that they are an evil force in the region,\u201d Scarborough told The Post.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/metrotransitreview.com\/?p=8482\">Florida State fan\u2019s viral \u2018big break\u2019 comes with awkward reveal<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Scarborough rejected any suggestion that the blowup reflected a personal rift between the longtime pals.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re great friends, and we\u2019ve done that before, and I don\u2019t think we\u2019d talk that way with somebody that we weren\u2019t so comfortable with,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe cares passionately about the issue. I care passionately about the issue.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Scarborough also made clear that he remains opposed to Netanyahu staying in power.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t think Benjamin Netanyahu running Israel for another three, four, five years is in the country\u2019s best interest,\u201d he told The Post.<\/p>\n<p>The Haaretz investigation published Monday alleged UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed warned Netanyahu in a 45-minute phone call roughly a week and a half before Oct. 7, 2023 that Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar was preparing a major operation against Israel.<\/p>\n<p>Haaretz reported that three senior foreign sources were familiar with the contents of the alleged conversation. It took place after bin Zayed received information that Sinwar had warned he was preparing a \u201czilzal,\u201d Arabic for \u201cearthquake,\u201d according to the outlet.<\/p>\n<p>Netanyahu has flatly denied the report, calling it an \u201cabsolute lie.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPrime Minister Netanyahu didn\u2019t speak to the president of the UAE during the period in question and received no warning from him,\u201d his office said.<\/p>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Netanyahu said Wednesday that his office, the National Security Council and his military secretary reviewed his call logs and found no record of a conversation with the UAE president between the beginning of September and Oct. 7, 2023.<\/p>\n<p>He also instructed his lawyers to move toward a libel suit against Haaretz and journalists involved in the reporting.
