PLYMOUTH, Mass. \u2014 The self-described crime junkie\u00a0arrested for allegedly filming jurors in Lindsay Clancy\u2019s case\u00a0was all smiles after she was released\u00a0Wednesday following a hearing where prosecutors alleged she risked the \u201csanctity\u201d of the killer mom\u2019s trial.<\/p>\n

Dawn Light, 56, pleaded not guilty to the charge of aggravated intimidation of a juror in the same courthouse where Clancy\u2019s high-profile\u00a0triple murder\u00a0trial has been underway for the past six weeks.<\/p>\n

Light \u2014 a retired nurse \u2014 allegedly pulled her blue Toyota into a \u201crestricted area\u201d of the court premises and filmed and took photos from inside the car as jurors were leaving court Tuesday afternoon, prosecutor Nicole Piacentini claimed.<\/p>\n

The prosecutor asked\u00a0the judge to hold Light on $50,000 bail, keep her away from the court and bar her from posting any video or photos she may have uploaded to the cloud.<\/p>\n

Light is a \u201ccrime junkie\u201d and Clancy supporter who has attended other high-profile murder trials, including for Alex Murdaugh and Karen Read, she revealed in an\u00a0interview with CT Insider\u00a0Wednesday.<\/p>\n

When cops approached Light \u201cshe was adamant\u201d she wasn\u2019t filming jurors but rather \u201cwaiting to see if Lindsay Clancy would come out of the building,\u201d the prosecutor claimed.<\/p>\n

But when the cops looked inside her phone, they found a video of jurors walking out in her deleted folder, Piacentini alleged.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis individual is not only videoing \u2026 She went back to a restricted area. She was caught in that restricted area,\u201d the prosecutor said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe sanctity of the judicial system is at risk because of her actions. It\u2019s an extremely serious matter for the Commonwealth and for the integrity of the proceedings,\u201d\u00a0Piacentini\u00a0blasted.<\/p>\n

But Light\u2019s defense lawyer, Jennifer White, claimed \u201cthis is a complete misunderstanding, Your Honor.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMy client was seeking a picture of Ms. Clancy and had no intention of any interactions with the jurors,\u201d White said.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe understands the magnitude and seriousness of this charge,\u201d the defense lawyer said.<\/p>\n

Judge Shelby M. Smith did not set bail for Light but did order her to stay away from the courthouse, witnesses and jurors in the case. She can only return to court for her future hearings in the case.<\/p>\n

Light is due back on Oct. 15 and faces up to 20 years behind bars if convicted.<\/p>\n

Jurors in the Clancy case have been deliberating for five days on whether to convict her of first-degree murder for strangling her three kids, Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan 8 months, on Jan. 24, 2023, before attempting to take her own life.<\/p>\n
