While the White House’s flags were being lowered to half-staff in honor of Dolly Parton \u2014 who died at 80 years old on Tuesday \u2014 a hawk flew on top and sat on the flag pole.<\/p>\n

Upon the news of Parton’s death, President Trump ordered that all flags be lowered for the following week for her honor.<\/p>\n

Country music star Tim McGraw shared a heartfelt tribute on Facebook to fellow country music icon Dolly Parton following announcement of her death at age 80 Tuesday.<\/p>\n

McGraw referred to Parton as the “blueprint, head and shoulders above anyone that came before her.”<\/p>\n

“Everything she did, she did it with kindness, grace and that famous wit and smile,” the Grammy winning musician shared.<\/p>\n
