Radical, far-left streamer\u00a0Hasan Piker is under fire for vile comments he made suggesting that American Jews were responsible for any hateful, antisemitic attacks against them.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople don\u2019t f\u2013k with Israel any longer. And if Jews in America keep putting this idea out there that they\u2019re singularly invested in Israel, eventually someone will come around and take action not against Israel, mind you, but against American Jews,\u201d Piker said during his Aug. 20 stream.<\/p>\n

Piker \u2014 a caviar socialist with a multimillion-dollar home in West Hollywood known for showing off his $200,000 Porsche \u2014 has played an increasingly prominent role as a surrogate for Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) congressional candidates, many of whom have run successful races.<\/p>\n

But the baggage he carries, including a history of extremist rhetoric such as claiming America \u201cdeserved\u201d the 9\/11 attacks and downplaying rapes Hamas committed during the Oct. 7, 2023 terror attack in Israel, has led some Democrats to distance themselves from the 35-year-old.<\/p>\n

Among them is Rep. Hillary Scholten (D-Mich.), who lambasted Piker over his recent comments, which she characterized as \u201ctalk of violence\u201d aimed at Jewish Michigan State Sen. Jeremy Moss.<\/p>\n

In a statement Monday, Scholten called Piker \u201ca hack who thrives on hate, shock and awe because he lacks substance.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHasan Piker\u2019s talk of violence against American Jews, and directly naming a Michigan elected official, and future member of Congress, Jeremy Moss, is unacceptable. Full stop,\u201d Scholten\u2019s statement read.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cWe should all be calling out this disgusting rhetoric so it loses its grip on our politics once and for all. It has no place in\u00a0Michigan, and no place in our country.\u201d<\/p>\n

Piker brushed off Scholten\u2019s criticism by calling her an \u201cIsrael 1st congresswoman\u201d and taking potshots at her personal life.<\/p>\n

\u201cif i was an israel 1st congresswoman with a possible cheating scandal with a republican in the state, i wouldn\u2019t spend so much time vying for the spotlight by actively defaming a prominent antizionist voice to harm the dem senate majority chances over a 90\/10 issue,\u201d\u00a0Piker wrote on X.<\/p>\n

Piker, who has millions of social media followers \u2014 mostly young men \u2014 has been a fixture on the campaign trail in Michigan this election cycle.\u00a0<\/p>\n

He backed Democratic Senate candidate\u00a0Abdul El-Sayed, who defeated Rep. Haley Stevens in a primary earlier this month. El-Sayed took heat for appearing with Piker during his campaign, with some critics saying his rhetoric is too extreme.<\/p>\n

El-Sayed also responded to Piker\u2019s comments, and while he did not condemn the streamer outright, he denounced antisemitism and rhetoric that puts the Jewish community in danger.<\/p>\n

\u201cI believe all Americans deserve the right to advocate for what they believe without fear of violence. This is particularly true for communities that have been intimidated for their beliefs in the past,\u201d El-Sayed wrote.<\/p>\n

He emphasized that Piker did not speak for him, writing that, \u201cnobody speaks for this campaign besides\u00a0me and my campaign spokespeople.\u201d<\/p>\n

In addition to politicians, Piker was also criticized by Jewish organizations.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In a statement to Fox News Digital, the Jewish Federation of Detroit said that \u201cHasan Piker\u2019s talk of violence against Jewish Americans while displaying a picture of a Michigan lawmaker who is Jewish is repugnant and antisemitic.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe call on all responsible leaders to condemn this extremist, attention-seeking conduct which divides Americans, foments hate, and makes our Jewish community less safe,\u201d the Jewish Federation of Detroit\u2019s statement read.<\/p>\n

The American Jewish Committee (AJC) also said on Monday that by using an image of Moss during his stream warning of violence, \u201cPiker put a target on the backs of Sen. Moss, Jewish candidates and officeholders, and American Jews alike.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBlaming Jews for the antisemitism directed at them is itself antisemitism,\u201d\u00a0AJC wrote on X. \u201cEvery public official who has shared his platform now has a choice: denounce this and walk away, or be complicit. There is no third option.\u201d<\/p>\n

Anti-Defamation League CEO\u00a0Jonathan Greenblatt weighed in\u00a0as well, questioning whether elected officials who associate with Piker really watch his streams or if \u201cthey just see his reach and ignore the rampant antisemitism.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Jewsplaining is extraordinary: Piker appoints himself an authority on antisemitism, lecturing Jews about what is and isn\u2019t antisemitic while blaming the Jewish community for the hatred directed against it,\u201d Greenblatt said of Piker.<\/p>\n

Piker\u2019s remarks came amid a controversy over an audio clip circulating online in which Moss purportedly said that the \u201centire purpose\u201d of his congressional campaign was to ensure America\u2019s continued support for Israel.<\/p>\n

However, the Michigan Democrat said that the clip was fabricated, calling it \u201ca manipulated and unsourced audio, with things I never did and never would say.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are in a dangerous era of disinformation. Circulating a lie because it affirms your bias or belief is equally bad whether it comes from the left or the right. We all have a choice not to spread fabricated images, videos, and audio about candidates and campaigns. We all have a role in stopping the erosion of our democracy,\u201d Moss said about the controversy over the audio clip.<\/p>\n

Fox News Digital reached out to Piker and Moss for comment but did not immediately receive a response.\u00a0<\/p>\n
