Are you circumcised?\u201d El-Sayed bluntly asked the \u201cJesse Watters Primetime\u201d host, after arguing that the government shouldn\u2019t get involved in transgender medical procedures for children.<\/p>\n<p>Watters was floored by the question.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJesse, are you?\u201d El-Sayed pressed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYeah, yeah, but I mean, that\u2019s a personal question \u2014 doctor,\u201d Watters responded.<\/p>\n<p>El-Sayed, seemingly convinced that he ended the debate with Watters, suggested: \u201cYou probably should want to move on.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCircumcision is different than castration!\u201d Watters fired back.<\/p>\n<p>Undeterred, El-Sayed argued that it\u2019s a \u201cproblem\u201d that Watters believes the government should step in to outlaw sex change surgeries for minors but not circumcisions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m just saying that yes, circumcision is surgery on a kid\u2019s ding-a-ling,\u201d the former public health official told Watters. \u201cSo if you really want to bring that up, you can \u2026 I just think you guys are really selective about these things.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Watters described El-Sayed\u2019s position as \u201cwacky\u201d and \u201csick.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAbdul, Michigan\u2019s not going for that. That is sick stuff,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The Fox host followed up by asking El-Sayed if he was in favor of \u201cboys playing in girls\u2019 sports,\u201d which irritated the Senate hopeful.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou have not asked me one time about the issues that people actually care about in Michigan,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou can play this game if you want,\u201d El-Sayed fumed. \u201cI just want to understand what you\u2019re getting at here.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/metrotransitreview.com\/?p=7357\">NJ college athlete shot dead by cops after mistakenly trying to enter stranger\u2019s home during night of drinking: family<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m getting at whether you think men should play in women\u2019s sports \u2026 it\u2019s a big issue,\u201d Watters asked again.<\/p>\n<p>El-Sayed dodged the question, arguing: \u201cAt the end of the day, the decision of who gets to play what sports ought to be decided by the people who govern sports.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He then called it \u201cinsane\u201d that Watters would pose him such a question.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m running for US Senate,\u201d he said. \u201cJesse, this is insane.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Earlier in the interview, El-Sayed refused to say how much his proposal to socialize the healthcare system would cost; would not answer a question about the size of the US budget; and declined to explain why he allegedly suggested the \u201cNFL was racist.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The lefty Dem also expressed support for both arresting some criminal illegal migrants and abolishing Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) \u2013 seemingly suggesting the US should bring back the long-defunct Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) to handle immigration enforcement.<\/p>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s a bureaucratic game you\u2019re playing,\u201d Watters, sounding annoyed, said in response. \u201cAnd that\u2019s a dodge.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>El-Sayed will face Republican nominee Mike Rogers \u2013 a former congressman and FBI special agent \u2013 in a midterm contest that could decide which party controls the Senate next year.<\/p>\n<p>El-Sayed\u2019s defeated Rep. Haley Stevens (D-Mich.) earlier this month in the Michigan Democratic Senate primary.
