San Francisco 49ers owner Jed York filed for divorce from his wife, Danielle Belluomini, just months before he was arrested for allegedly shelling out $140 in hopes of landing a prostitute, according to court records.<\/p>\n

York submitted his divorce filing in Santa Clara County on May 11. The couple\u2019s minor children, Jaxon and Brixton, were listed as additional parties in the case.<\/p>\n

The matter has not yet been resolved, according to the records observed by the California Post.<\/p>\n

A copy of\u00a0York\u2019s petition, obtained on Monday by the San Francisco Chronicle, showed York asked for the separation from Belluomini over \u201cirreconcilable differences.\u201d The two had been married for over 15 years.<\/p>\n

York was arrested on Sunday morning at 9:35 a.m. in Ohio after authorities alleged in court documents he \u201carranged to have sexual activity\u201d with a woman \u201cin exchange for $140.\u201d<\/p>\n

Police claim York was arrested \u201cat the meeting location\u201d \u2014 an East Palestine trailer park \u2014 after he was \u201cfound to have in his possession his cellular device which was used to arrange the criminal act.\u201d<\/p>\n

York was initially charged with one count of engaging in prostitution and one count of possessing criminal tools. On Monday, however, he pleaded no contest to a lesser charge of disorderly conduct as well as no contest to one count of possessing criminal tools.<\/p>\n
