It bills itself as a \u201cquiet\u201d place to live.<\/p>\n

But Wheat Hill Mobile Home Community in East Palestine, Ohio, was thrust into the spotlight Monday when San Francisco owner Jed York was arrested there.<\/p>\n

The high-flying NFL franchise boss allegedly organized to pay $140 for a sex worker, but it turned out to be an undercover police sting, The Post revealed.<\/p>\n

The owner of Wheat Hill said later Monday morning the 46-year-old had not been planning to meet the woman at the park but had just pulled into the site when he was snared by cops.<\/p>\n

According to the community\u2019s Facebook page, the chief of police for East Palestine said it was purely a coincidence.<\/p>\n

It said: \u201cI just got off the phone with the Chief of Police for East Palestine, Chief Weingart. According to the chief, Jed York was arrested in the park because that\u2019s where he happened to pull over.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey were not using addresses in the park as part of their sting operation.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis news of this arrest in our quiet community is just as shocking to us, as to the rest of you. While we support law enforcement in their efforts. We really have no other knowledge of the situation.\u201d<\/p>\n

The 42-lot mobile-home community sits at 5064 State Route 170 in East Palestine, a sleepy town near the Ohio-Pennsylvania border.<\/p>\n

Its website describes Wheat Hill as an\u00a0\u201call-ages community\u201d\u00a0where a school bus stops at the entrance, the village provides water and sewer service, and the roads are plowed and salted during the winter.<\/p>\n

\u201cWheat Hill Mobile Home Community is a clean, quiet, and affordable place to call home. This is not the type of place that Jerry Springer would ever find people to be on his show,\u201d the community\u2019s website says.<\/p>\n

Its Facebook page similarly presents Wheat Hill as a conventional residential park under new ownership.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Wheat Hill Mobile home park is now under new management! CMC REI LLC is a West Virginia based company dedicated to owning and operating great mobile home parks. We are a small company that cares about our tenants and the parks they live in,\u201d its description says.<\/p>\n

The Post has reached out to management for further comment. <\/p>\n

Photos and posts from the community depict residents preparing for Halloween and other ordinary neighborhood activities, while announcements cover the sort of day-to-day matters expected in a mobile-home community \u2014 including trash and transportation-related permits.<\/p>\n

But that all changed when York was arrest, turning the site into the center of a national scandal that is plaguing one of America\u2019s biggest sports teams.<\/p>\n

York was initially arrested on suspicion of engaging in prostitution in the area, but prosecutors amended that charge to misdemeanor disorderly conduct.<\/p>\n

He also pleaded no contest to possessing criminal tools \u2014 reportedly referring to the cellphone used to arrange the encounter.<\/p>\n

A judge sentenced York to one day in jail on each count, with the sentences running concurrently, and fined him a total of $1,150. He had posted $5,000 bond following his arrest.<\/p>\n

The bizarre scene unfolded in a community that has little apparent connection to the glitzy world of NFL ownership.<\/p>\n

Public records show Wheat Hills LLC purchased the property in 2012, with the trailer park later valued at nearly $300,000, according to records reviewed by the California Post.<\/p>\n

Today, the property is associated with CMC REI LLC, a West Virginia-based company that says it specializes in owning and operating mobile-home communities.<\/p>\n
