Meghan Markle could be returning to acting sooner than expected, with the Duchess of Sussex in talks for Season 3 of Netflix\u2019s \u201cThe Gentlemen\u201d ahead of her return to the UK.<\/p>\n

Markle is being considered for a currently unknown role in Guy Ritchie\u2019s action-comedy series, Deadline reported Friday.<\/p>\n

Page Six has reached to Markle\u2019s representative for comment.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Gentlemen,\u201d starring Theo James, premiered on Netflix in March 2024, with its second season set to debut Sept. 3.<\/p>\n

A Netflix representative confirmed to Page Six that the series has been renewed for a third season.<\/p>\n

The latest casting buzz comes after Australian outlet News.com.au reported Friday that Markle had been \u201coffered a role in an upcoming project based in the UK.\u201d<\/p>\n

A source told Page Six there have been \u201cinquiries in the entertainment space recently\u201d and that Markle is considering her options, but stressed that \u201cnothing is confirmed right now.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSomething is being discussed, but it\u2019s not solid,\u201d the source added.<\/p>\n

Markle is best known for playing Rachel Zane on the legal drama \u201cSuits,\u201d appearing on the series for seven season from 2011 to 2018.<\/p>\n

She also appeared in films including \u201cRemember Me\u201d and \u201cHorrible Bosses,\u201d alongside her television work, before her engagement to Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, in 2017.<\/p>\n

Markle\u2019s potential return to acting has been brewing for a while. In November 2025, she was linked to \u201cClose Personal Friends,\u201d a star-studded film featuring Brie Larson, Lily Collins, Jack Quaid and Henry Golding, with Markle reportedly set to play herself.<\/p>\n

The film has yet to announce a release date.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is a massive moment for Meghan and signifies a return to doing what she truly loves,\u201d a source from Amazon MGM Studios, the production company behind the film, told the Sun at the time. \u201cIt\u2019s Meghan\u2019s way of gently putting her toe back in the water and seeing how she enjoys being back on set.<\/p>\n

The source also said Markle\u2019s husband had been fully supportive of her latest career move, adding that he just wanted her to \u201cdo whatever brings her joy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Markle\u2019s acting comeback made headlines in April after former \u201cSuits\u201d co-star Eric Roberts revealed the month before that she was plotting a return to the screen.<\/p>\n

A senior Los Angeles casting agent later told Page Six that Markle had been \u201cbombarded\u201d with offers from studios and production companies for a slew of roles.<\/p>\n

\u201cMeghan has been the hottest talking point in Hollywood circles in the last couple of weeks,\u201d the agent claimed at the time. \u201cThe very suggestion that she is planning to come back to acting has prompted interest the likes [of which] I have never seen in my three decades in the business.\u201d<\/p>\n

News of Markle\u2019s potential appearance in \u201cThe Gentlemen\u201d comes on the heels of the bombshell revelation that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will return to the UK at the end of the month for an \u201cextended period.\u201d<\/p>\n

Page Six confirmed Wednesday that the couple\u2019s children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, will also be enrolled at a school in Britain.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe palace was made aware of the move,\u201d a source told Page Six, noting that King Charles III was informed Sunday of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex\u2019s impending return.<\/p>\n

Another insider told Page Six, \u201cI know that Charles is the reason they are moving back.\u201d<\/p>\n
