They see this as an attempt to get a foot back in the door before William is the one deciding how firmly that door is closed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Schofield has heard whispers that there is \u201cgenuine concern\u201d within the Wales\u2019 camp about what Harry and Markle\u2019s move could mean for William, Kate Middleton and their family. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey have not forgotten the escalation in threats and online harassment directed at the Waleses after the Oprah interview, and they fear another cycle of accusations, leaks or interviews could inflame that hostility again,\u201d Schofield said, referring to the several interviews the Sussexes conducted in which they aired their grievances with the royal family. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn the opinion of my palace source, Harry and Meghan are loose cannons,\u201d she continued, describing them as \u201cunpredictable, indiscreet and, critically, not always reliable narrators of events.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>There is also deep skepticism within William\u2019s confidants that their sudden urgency to live close to the royal family has anything to do with King Charles III\u2019s health. However, he has made it clear that they will remain \u201cnon-working\u201d members of the royal family and be treated as private citizens.<\/p>\n<p>Page Six exclusively revealed that the couple decided to return to the UK to be closer to Charles and to ensure their kids build relationships with their royal relatives. <\/p>\n<p>Markle, 45, and Harry, 41, will allegedly move into a \u201cnon-royal residence\u201d and continue building their \u201cbusiness enterprises,\u201d the Sun reported. <\/p>\n<p>Along with their bombshell interviews with Winfrey and Netflix, Harry also dragged his family members in his 2023 memoir, \u201cSpare.\u201d The \u201cWith Love, Meghan\u201d host also made claims accusing royal family members of racism, saying someone had expressed concerns about her baby\u2019s skin color. <\/p>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Tensions have been boiling over between Harry and William and they have yet to reconcile. A source told Page Six on Wednesday that things remain frosty between the brothers and William refuses to talk to Harry.<\/p>\n<p>However, Harry has been able to slowly mend things with his dad, whom he met with just last month.
