Prince Harry and Meghan Markle\u2019s UK comeback has raised several burning questions six years after the couple left the royal family.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, Page Six confirmed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex would be returning to the UK at the end of the month with their two children \u2014 Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet \u2014 for \u201can extended period.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe palace was made aware of the move,\u201d a source confirmed to us, noting that Harry\u2019s father, King Charles III, was notified on Sunday.<\/p>\n

\u201cI know that Charles is the reason they are moving back,\u201d an insider told Page Six, possibly referencing the 77-year-old\u2019s current cancer battle.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re also told that Archie, 7, and Lilibet, 5, will be enrolled at a school there.<\/p>\n

How often will Harry and Meghan travel back to the US? <\/h2>\n

The couple will travel back and forth across the pond; however, it is unknown how frequently they will.<\/p>\n

Though Markle and Harry said they would keep their $14 million mansion in Montecito, California, a source in the Santa Barbara luxury real estate market told The Post there \u201chave been rumblings\u201d the couple will sell the property, adding that \u201cevery broker wants that listing.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Post revealed that the residence costs the couple a staggering $600,000-plus a year in mortgage payments and taxes alone.<\/p>\n

The \u201cWith Love, Meghan\u201d star will also want to travel back to the US to see her mother, Doria Ragland, who lives in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

Will the Sussex family have security?<\/h2>\n

On Thursday, Prime Minister\u00a0Andy Burnham told the BBC that security arrangements for Harry and his family are a \u201cprivate matter.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a matter for Harry and for Meghan, and we wish them well in the move that they are making,\u201d Burnham added.<\/p>\n

As Page Six previously reported, once Harry and his wife left the royal family in 2020, they were stripped of automatic, taxpayer-funded British police protection.<\/p>\n

The move triggered a multi-year legal battle with the UK government, concluding with the Duke losing an appeal in May 2025.<\/p>\n

Will Prince William make amends with his brother?<\/h2>\n

Sykes exclusively told Page Six that Harry\u2019s return to the UK is a \u201chuge slap in the face for William, and it does also create serious risks for the monarchy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sykes said that given the longstanding feud between the brothers, the move will create a \u201chuge succession\u201d of additional \u201cchallenges\u201d for the Prince of Wales.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat is gonna happen if Charles invites Harry to join the royal family for Christmas? What is gonna happen if Harry wants to attend the Remembrance Day celebrations?\u201d Sykes asked.<\/p>\n

Royal photographer\u00a0Arthur Edwards also does not believe that William will\u00a0be ready to forgive his younger brother.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut while His Majesty may welcome back Harry and Meghan, I am not convinced brother\u00a0Prince\u00a0William will be so forgiving,\u201d he told the US Sun.<\/p>\n

He added, \u201cIt would take a great act of forgiveness and I\u2019m not sure Wills is ready to do that.\u201d<\/p>\n

The sons of the late Princess Diana have been estranged since Harry quit the royal family in 2020. <\/p>\n

Things got worse when Invictus Games founder and his wife\u00a0accused the royal family of racism\u00a0and released a Netflix series about their issues.<\/p>\n

Then, in January 2023, Harry dropped his bombshell memoir,\u00a0\u201cSpare,\u201d\u00a0in which he alleged William, 44,\u00a0physically attacked him\u00a0over Markle.<\/p>\n

Where will Archie and Lilibet go to school?<\/h2>\n

According to Hello!, both Lilibet and Archie are\u00a0already enrolled in school\u00a0in Britain, with their term slated to begin in September. <\/p>\n

Their parents have chosen to keep the name of Archie and Lilibet\u2019s school private due to security concerns; however, the outlet reported that the school is close to their new non-royal residence in Britain.<\/p>\n

Archie is enrolled in Year Three, while his younger sister is enrolled in Year One.<\/p>\n

It is unclear if the Sussex children will attend Lambrook School with their cousins,\u00a0Prince George,\u00a0Princess Charlotte\u00a0and\u00a0Prince Louis.<\/p>\n

Where will Harry and Meghan live?<\/h2>\n

Markle, 45, and Harry, 41, will live in a private, non-royal residence outside of London. <\/p>\n

Though the exact location remains undisclosed for privacy reasons, the BBC confirmed that the family of four will not live in a royal property.<\/p>\n

Additonally, royal reporter Tom Sykes told Page Six exclusively that they would \u201cpotentially\u201d make the Cotswolds near Highgrove their home, \u201cbecause [Harry] knows the area very well.\u201d<\/p>\n

Harry and the \u201cSuits\u201d actress plan to be settled into their new home in the UK by the end of August.<\/p>\n

Will Harry and Meghan rejoin the royal family?<\/h2>\n

Harry and Markle will not be returning to their old duties as royals when they go back across the pond. <\/p>\n

Per CNN, the royal institution has made it clear over the years that the couple cannot do a \u201chalf in, half out\u201d approach. <\/p>\n

Sources told the US Sun that if there are discussions on any future royal role for Harry, it would need to take place between him and Charles.<\/p>\n

Will Harry and Meghan attend royal events?<\/h2>\n

Now that the Sussexes will be back in the UK, it is expected that they will attend family events more regularly, though it\u2019s unclear where they will make appearances.<\/p>\n
