Prince Harry dropped a hint about his family\u2019s return to the United Kingdom one year before news of their comeback broke.<\/p>\n

The Duke of Sussex, 41, chatted with singer Joss Stone at the WellChild Awards in September 2025 \u2014 and they spoke about feeling \u201cdrawn to come back\u201d to England.<\/p>\n

Stone, notably, relocated from Nashville back across the pond earlier that same year.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe \u2026 asked about how we were settling back in and was genuinely interested in our move home,\u201d the Grammy winner, 39, told Hello! magazine last year.<\/p>\n

\u201cMaybe Harry will move back too,\u201d Stone predicted at the time. \u201cThat would be nice.\u201d<\/p>\n

She noted, \u201cHe was saying how wonderful the schools are here and how important community is for children.\u201d<\/p>\n

The songwriter gushed, \u201cIt was nice to share that with him because it\u2019s exactly why we felt drawn to come back \u2014 for the kids to grow up surrounded by family, friends and a strong sense of belonging and, most importantly, in a safe environment.\u201d<\/p>\n

Harry shares two children with wife Meghan Markle \u2014 Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5 \u2014 and the foursome are moving back to England, Page Six confirmed Wednesday.<\/p>\n

We hear the little ones will attend school in the UK.<\/p>\n

Markle and Harry\u2019s eldest child, notably, was born in England in May 2019, the year before the retired royals ditched England.<\/p>\n

The couple ultimately settled in a Montecito, California, mansion, where they were living when Lilibet joined the family in June 2021.<\/p>\n

Markle and Harry planned their move earlier this month, Page Six reported, on the heels of their meeting with King Charles III.<\/p>\n

According to the Sun, the monarch, 77, was kept in the dark about his son\u2019s decision to relocate until Sunday.<\/p>\n

The king, who went public with his cancer diagnosis in 2024, \u201cis a big reason for their return,\u201d a source told us on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Additionally, Markle and Harry \u201chave so many friends and family in the UK whom they remain so close to,\u201d another insider shared.<\/p>\n

Page Six confirmed, however, that Harry is still not on speaking terms with his brother, Prince William, and it is not expected that Archie and Lilibet will see his and Kate Middleton\u2019s kids \u2014 Prince George, 13, Princess Charlotte, 11, and Prince Louis, 8.<\/p>\n

Royal reporter Tom Sykes told us Markle and Harry\u2019s move is a \u201chuge slap in the face\u201d for the Prince of Wales, 44.<\/p>\n

The choice, he claimed, \u201ccreate[s] serious risks for the monarchy\u201d and \u201cchallenges\u201d for William.<\/p>\n
