Tupac Shakur refused to say who shot him as he lay bleeding in an ambulance, according to a cop who tried to press the iconic rapper for answers.<\/p>\n

Former Las Vegas police officer Garry Dale recalled asking for the names of attackers as he rode with Shakur in an ambulance to a hospital in September 1996 after the hip-hop artist was wounded in a drive-by shooting.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe responded, \u2018No, no, we\u2019ll take care of it.\u2019 Something like that,\u201d Dale testified on Monday in the murder trial against the now 63-year-old Duane Davis.<\/p>\n

David allegedly organized the hit on Shakur as an act of \u201crevenge.\u201d<\/p>\n

Shakur would die in hospital six days later from his injuries \u2014 apparently taking the identities of his attackers to his grave.<\/p>\n

The trial against Davis entered the second day on Tuesday with prosecutors showing grim photos from the rapper\u2019s autopsy.<\/p>\n

They also called a forensic expert to the stand to describe the four fatal bullet wounds to his chest.<\/p>\n

Davis\u2019 defense maintains there was no merit to allegations that the suspect was responsible for the superstar\u2019s murder.<\/p>\n

Davis, prosecutors allege, was full of \u201cvisceral anger,\u201d which boiled over when Tupac and his crew allegedly beat up Davis\u2019 nephew while he was in town for a Mike Tyson fight at the MGM Grand hotel.<\/p>\n

It took authorities more than 25 years to formally charge Davis, who has acknowledged that his nephew, Orlando Anderson, fired the shots while he was in the car.<\/p>\n

\u201cDwane Davis did not pull the trigger, but what he did do was plan the retaliation for the beating of his nephew,\u201d a prosecutor told the jury during opening arguments on Monday.<\/p>\n
