They were on a no-airline.<\/p>\n

Ryanair passengers allegedly passed out and vomited after being trapped for over an hour aboard a scorching airplane without air conditioning.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe whole situation makes me feel extremely angry,\u201d fly-witness Eva Gregory, 16, told Jam Press of the uncool predicament, which occurred Monday on flight FR7268 from Malta to Birmingham, UK.<\/p>\n

The plane was allegedly slated to take off at 5:40 a.m. However, Ryanair reps told the Post that it \u201cwas delayed prior to departure due to a minor technical issue with the aircraft and subsequently became [further] delayed after a passenger became ill onboard.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gregory, who was traveling with her mom and brother, said the problems started before boarding when passengers were forced to spend 30 minutes inside a bus without aircon en route to the terminal.<\/p>\n

They were then transferred to another bus with a poor cooling system for another half hour.<\/p>\n

When they finally boarded the aircraft, it was out of the frying pan and into the fire. <\/p>\n

\u201cWhen we boarded, it was immediately obvious the air conditioning was not on,\u201d the Derby resident recalled. \u201cIt was like walking into extreme heat.\u201d<\/p>\n

The flyers were then forced to wait in this impromptu sweat lodge for over an hour sans air conditioning, which caused passengers to become \u201cextremely agitated,\u201d with some even removing clothing due to the baking temps.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople were taking their tops off because of the heat,\u201d recalled Gregory, adding that \u201ctwo people passed out\u201d while others threw up.<\/p>\n

The youngster said she was also feeling the effects of the aircraft-turned-air fryer. <\/p>\n

\u201cI was experiencing the feeling of needing to throw up, but as I have a phobia of being sick, it gave me a panic attack,\u201d she recalled.<\/p>\n

She even shared a TikTok video showing passengers standing around fanning themselves in the scorching cabin. \u201cRyanair is disgusting,\u201d the teen wrote in the caption.<\/p>\n

Gregory felt especially bad for elderly flyers, who she said appeared \u201cextremely distressed\u201d and could\u2019ve had \u201cmedical problems.\u201d <\/p>\n

To make matters worse, she said the staff \u201cdidn\u2019t even offer free bottles of water to anyone, even those experiencing medical emergencies.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nonetheless, Gregory felt that the crew members \u201cdid their best\u201d during an unenviable situation. <\/p>\n

She said a few of them tried to prevent their colleagues from letting passengers board this queasy-jet until the issue had been resolved, but to no avail.<\/p>\n

Thankfully, the aircon finally started working after liftoff, which was nearly an hour and a half after the plane\u2019s original departure time.<\/p>\n

\u201cFollowing an inspection of the aircraft by engineers, the aircraft was cleared to operate, and this flight departed Malta at 7:00 p.m. local,\u201d said the Ryanair spokesperson.<\/p>\n

Gregory said she hoped that sharing the story would help inspire \u201cRyanair to fix its mistakes and stop valuing money over the passengers.\u201d<\/p>\n
