Tragic new details about \u201cThe Challenge\u201d star Tyler Duckworth\u2019s death at 44 have been revealed.<\/p>\n

According to the Grand Forks Police Department, Duckworth\u2019s body was found in the overflowing bathtub of his North Dakota apartment on Tuesday, per People.<\/p>\n

Prior to making the devastating discovery, cops told the outlet that they had received a report from downstairs neighbors complaining of water coming through the ceiling.<\/p>\n

When responding officers arrived on the scene at roughly 11:45 a.m., they determined that the water coming through the ceiling was coming from Duckworth\u2019s bathtub, where he was found unresponsive.<\/p>\n

Police said it was unclear how long he had been deceased but that he was seen the day before.<\/p>\n

They also noted that there did not appear to be any signs of foul play or a suspicious death.<\/p>\n

Duckworth\u2019s cause of death is \u201cpending the results of an autopsy\u201d and a toxicology report, which could take up to 12 weeks to complete.<\/p>\n

Officials went on to tell the Us Sun that the case has been classified as an unattended death, meaning there were no witnesses on the scene.<\/p>\n

When the late TV personality\u2019s mother, Joni Duckworth, announced the tragic news Thursday on Facebook, she suggested that not even the family knows exactly what happened to him.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy son, Tyler, passed away earlier this week,\u201d her post read. \u201cCause of death has yet to be determined. I will post on Facebook about services as soon as his dad and I figure it out.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, a source claimed to the US Sun that Tyler had recently undergone surgery, though it\u2019s unclear whether the alleged medical procedure was related to his sudden death.<\/p>\n

Tyler\u2019s last public appearance was on July 31 when he joined fellow \u201cChallenge\u201d nation members Tina Barta, Brad Fiorenza, Rachel Robinson, Paulie Calafiore and Mark Long for a Challenge\u00a0Mania event in Minneapolis, Minnesota.<\/p>\n

\u201c@challengemaniapodcast\u00a0always knows how to bring the BEST of the BEST together!!\u201d Tyler went on to caption an Instagram photo from the event.<\/p>\n

The comments section of the Aug. 2 upload has since been flooded with messages of condolences.<\/p>\n

One particular fan who was personally impacted by the reality star penned, \u201cTyler, you were so important for young queer men like me that grew up loving competitive sports but felt unwelcome in those spaces. You taught me that I can embrace my strength without compromising who I was. I will miss you.\u201d<\/p>\n
