\u201cHell on Wheels\u201d murderer Mackenzie Shirilla whined to her mother because she missed her iPad and wasn\u2019t satisfied with the quality of prison food, demanding a cushier lifestyle while locked behind bars.<\/p>\n

Shirilla, 20, made the demands over the phone after she was jailed for intentionally driving her car into a brick wall, killing her ex-boyfriend Dominic Russo and friend Davion Flanagan back in 2023, according to the US Sun.<\/p>\n

\u201cI really want my iPad, though,\u201d Shirilla told her mother from Cuyahoga County Jail in Cleveland, Ohio, according to the outlet.<\/p>\n

The then-teenager, who was being held at lock-up awaiting trial, complained that she wasn\u2019t able to sleep at night and whined for the electronic tablet despite not knowing how she could get access to it.<\/p>\n

\u201cCan you call and ask? Please. Please,\u201d she begged before being told bluntly that jail officials would treat it as a \u201cspecial request.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019ll get it when you get it,\u201d Shirilla\u2019s mother, Natalie, told her daughter. <\/p>\n

\u201cWhy the f\u2013k man?\u201d Shirillia shrieked.<\/p>\n

In other jailhouse calls with her mother, Shirilla complained about the food she was being served and she began paying for food with her own money, her former prison girlfriend Shyann Topping told the US Sun.<\/p>\n

Shirilla used the strange mother-daughter bonding time over the phone to learn that she began forming a cult following after the story of the crash made it to news outlets.<\/p>\n

\u201cKenzie, it\u2019s on the Today Show,\u201d Shrillia\u2019s mother told her, receiving a shocked reaction.<\/p>\n

Shirilla was disappointed after learning her story didn\u2019t make it to TV but was picked up by the NBC program as an online story.<\/p>\n

Shirilla, then 19, was caught on camera\u00a0deliberately flooring her Toyota Camry\u00a0to 100 mph before it jumped a curb and flew into a brick warehouse in Strongsville, Ohio, back in July 2022.<\/p>\n

Russo, who was in the passenger seat, and Flanagan, who was in the back, were both declared dead at the scene.\u00a0Shirilla was found unconscious\u00a0with her fuzzy Prada slippers still on the accelerator.<\/p>\n

The deadly wreck is featured in Netflix\u2019s \u201cThe Crash\u201d documentary.<\/p>\n

The glamorous killer is currently serving two concurrent sentences of 15 years to life at the Ohio Reformatory for Women in Marysville.<\/p>\n

\n<\/div>\n

In a later call, Shirilla was recorded hauntingly fantasizing about capitalizing on the infamous murders to launch a career in Hollywood if she were sprung from prison early.<\/p>\n

She also ordered for her Instagram bio to be changed to read \u201c#freekenzie\u201d despite her mother\u2019s pushback.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd please don\u2019t forget to change my Instagram bio. Try and get into that one Instagram account and change my name,\u201d Shirilla demanded, according to the outlet.<\/p>\n
