Perez Hilton has been \u201csafely recovered\u201d from his Miami home and transported to a local hospital after the celebrity blogger shared what appeared to be a video in which he self-harms.<\/p>\n

Miami-Dade County Sheriff\u2019s Office confirmed to Page Six Tuesday night they\u2019d received \u201cmultiple calls\u201d of \u201can individual livestreaming acts of self-harm on social media\u201d and dispatched deputies to investigate.<\/p>\n

Officers spoke with Hilton\u2019s family members who were on the scene and ultimately decided to \u201ctactfully disengage\u201d while continuing to \u201cmonitor the situation\u201d after confirming Hilton, 48, was alone inside.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe individual has been safely recovered and transported by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue to a local hospital, where he is receiving medical attention,\u201d the Miami-Dade County Sheriff\u2019s Office said in a statement obtained by Page Six. <\/p>\n

\u201cThe Miami-Dade Sheriff\u2019s Office Crisis Response Unit and Licensed Mental Health Professionals are also on scene providing support and resources to the individual\u2019s family.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hilton\u2019s representatives, Golden Artists Entertainment Co-CEOs Dante Rusciolelli and Rebekah Kochan told TMZ in a statement they \u201care aware of the concerning content circulating online\u201d involving their client.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt this time, we have not been able to make direct contact with him, despite our ongoing efforts to reach him,\u201d they added. \u201cOur primary concern is Perez\u2019s health and well-being, as well as the well-being of his family. Until we have confirmed information, we will not speculate or comment further.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rusciolelli and Kochan said they appreciate everyone\u2019s concern and ask for the public to respect Hilton\u2019s privacy at this time.<\/p>\n

Page Six has reached out to representatives for Hilton for additional comment and details.<\/p>\n

The blogger, born Mario Armando Lavandeira Jr., is father to three children welcomed via surrogacy.<\/p>\n

In March, Hilton was hospitalized for three weeks after taking flu medication on an empty stomach.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy stupidity landed me in the hospital for 21 days. It was the worst and best thing that\u2019s ever happened to me,\u201d he said in a YouTube video\u00a0shared that month describing the \u201ccrazy saga.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hilton said he\u2019d \u201chad the flu for about a week\u201d but failed to \u201ctake any of my medication with food.\u201d He said he \u201cdeveloped an ulcer and then a perforation and then sepsis\u201d as a result.<\/p>\n

The gossip blogger recounted his entire hospital stay and noted that it instilled in him a desire to be more present for his family.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m going to have dinner with my kids and my mom every night from now on,\u201d he pledged.<\/p>\n

In a health update in April, Hilton revealed he needed \u201cemergency surgery\u201d for a \u201cmassive\u201d blood clot.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have a deep vein thrombosis\u201d Hilton said at the time, sharing that he would undergo a \u201cthrombectomy\u201d procedure. \u201cI am so thankful to God that we caught this early because if that blood clot had gone to my lungs or my heart, it could have been real bad.\u201d<\/p>\n

After coming out the other side of the life-threatening medical scare, Hilton said he\u2019d found God.<\/p>\n

\u201cGod presented himself to me and then did something. Something I can only call miraculous\u2026 it was real, and this has been life-changing,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been crying, but happy tears. Happy tears. Because this is just, this is just so crazy. I\u2019ve been reading the Bible, and so much of what is said here I had already been thinking of,\u201d he said while holding up a Bible. \u201cIt\u2019s just overwhelming in the best, most beautiful way.\u201d<\/p>\n
