{"id":615,"date":"2026-05-27T23:38:28","date_gmt":"2026-05-27T23:38:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/metrotransitreview.com\/?p=615"},"modified":"2026-05-27T23:38:28","modified_gmt":"2026-05-27T23:38:28","slug":"exclusive-sugar-ray-leonard-makes-shocking-claims-about-son-after-alleged-violent-incident-at-boxing-legends-home","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/metrotransitreview.com\/?p=615","title":{"rendered":"Exclusive | Sugar Ray Leonard makes shocking claims about son after alleged violent incident at boxing legend&#8217;s home"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>Sugar Ray Leonard made some shocking claims about his son, Daniel Leonard, just hours after the 25-year-old was arrested in Los Angeles last week.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/metrotransitreview.com\/?p=613\">Jill Biden just admitted to a scandal of historic proportions<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The boxing legend filed a request for a restraining order against his youngest son on May 20 in which he wrote that Daniel was an addict, a thief and a \u201cdanger\u201d to himself and his family, according to the document obtained by The California Post.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe has overdosed 4 times,\u201d Ray said in a handwritten declaration. \u201cThey had to bring him back to life 2 times at the hospital! He has stolen extreme amounts of money valuable items! The police officers came and [Daniel] was escorted off our property because of where things were headed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to Ray, he was given a temporary restraining order against Daniel following that encounter, but the next day, on May 20, Daniel appeared at his home again and was arrested for violating the order. <\/p>\n<p>Los Angeles County jail records show Daniel was taken into custody at around 6:45 a.m. and was not released until May 22.<\/p>\n<p>Daniel\u2019s \u201cbehavior has become so cold!\u201d Ray wrote in his filing. \u201cI love my son but he has become a danger not only himself but to his family! My wife is extremely afraid along with me daughter Camille!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHis behavior has gotten worse every day. We haven\u2019t had a day of peace in 9 years which is the reality of his addiction! Scared for my family!\u201d<\/p>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Court records show a judge granted Ray\u2019s request shortly after he asked for it, ordering Daniel to stay at least 100 yards away from Ray and his wife, and to move out of the boxer\u2019s home.
