The Connecticut house of horrors mom\u00a0accused of imprisoning her stepson\u00a0in foul conditions for decades rejected a plea deal to serve only 10 years in prison \u2014 as the victim\u2019s biological mom blasted the alleged abuser\u2019s attorney for acting like a show pony.<\/p>\n

Prosecutors reiterated an offer that Kimberly Sullivan, 57, be sentenced to 30 years behind bars, suspended after 20 years served, during a 90-second court hearing in Waterbury on Wednesday. <\/p>\n

But Judge Corinne Klatt sweetened the deal by suggesting Sullivan serve 30 years, with the sentence suspended after 10 years.<\/p>\n

But Sullivan\u2019s defense attorney, Ioannis Kaloidis, said she\u2019s completely innocent.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t anticipate this case resolving with anything that involves incarceration,\u201d Kaloidis told reporters. \u201cKimberly\u2019s done nothing wrong. She\u2019s been surprised that any of this has even occurred.\u201d<\/p>\n

The attorney added that he hopes to discuss a trial date for Sullivan at her next court date on Sept. 4. <\/p>\n

\u201cWhether you\u2019re in Waterbury or Bridgeport, people know about the case. The key is going to be finding jurors that are not swayed by sensational media coverage, outlandish allegations, or sympathy that they may feel for the person making the allegations,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n

Sullivan was mum as she left court in multicolored striped pants. <\/p>\n

She is accused of keeping her stepson \u2013 now 33 \u2013 locked in a filthy room in their Waterbury home beginning when he was around 10, only letting him out for a few hours so he could do chores.<\/p>\n

The stepson \u2013 known publicly only as \u201cS\u201d \u2014 weighed just 68 pounds when he was discovered in February 2025 after he apparently set fire to his room in a desperate escape attempt.<\/p>\n

S soon told police terrifying tales of alleged abuse, including being taken out of school as a boy, before being relegated to the upstairs room that allegedly became his prison-home for decades.<\/p>\n

The alleged wicked stepmother was arrested within weeks, but sprung free on $300,000 bail while being ordered not to contact her stepson.<\/p>\n

Sullivan is facing a slew of charges, including two counts of first-degree kidnapping, first-degree assault, first-degree unlawful restraint and intentional cruelty to persons.<\/p>\n

Tracy Vallerand, S\u2019s biological mom, blasted prosecutors for offering the cushy plea deal and referred to Kaloidis as \u201cBeavis\u201d of the sitcom \u201cBeavis and Butt-head.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe is just in it to get his face in the news, on camera, saying \u2018Hey, look, I represent the f\u2013king worst of the worst,\u201d she told The Post.<\/p>\n

\u201cUnless they\u2019re actually talking about 31 years of her life, I don\u2019t want to hear it,\u201d she added, noting she believes her son was kept in a cage for 31 years based on details of the case. <\/p>\n

Vallerand gave up her son when he was just 6 months old and left his father, Kraigg Sullivan, to raise him with his new wife, Kimberly.<\/p>\n

She said it \u201ckills\u201d her every day to not know more about her biological son\u2019s condition or whereabouts. <\/p>\n

\u201cI know nothing. I absolutely know nothing. And it\u2019s frustrating, it\u2019s very frustrating. It kills me every day,\u201d Vallerand said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m also concerned with his development, his physical therapy, his mental therapy, everything. I know absolutely nothing. I know he\u2019s going to be f\u2013ked up for years and years and years, and it kills me.\u201d<\/p>\n
