The family of eight, including six children, who were found dead in a \u201csuspicious\u201d Michigan house fire is being probed as a possible murder-suicide \u2014 while the members of the household have been identified by grief-stricken loved ones.<\/p>\n

Amanda \u201cMandy\u201d Karolkiewicz, 39, her husband Kristopher, 47, and their six children, ages 5 to 15, were found dead inside their Grand Haven Township home on Friday around noon, Karolkiewicz\u2019s relatives revealed. <\/p>\n

The Ottawa County Sheriff\u2019s and Medical Examiner\u2019s office have not yet confirmed their deaths.<\/p>\n

Authorities said that some of the victims had gunshot wounds, but did not specify which ones.<\/p>\n

Authorities are also investigating the possibility of a horrific murder-suicide, but it is too early to confirm.<\/p>\n

Police, however, are not looking for any outside suspects, NBC reported.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy little sister Mandy, her husband, and my six nieces and nephews,\u201d her sister Molly Cessna wrote on Facebook alongside an article about the shocking deaths.<\/p>\n

\u201cEverything\u2019s just blurry. Please continue to pray, friends. please continue to pray as we try and piece everything together. Our hearts are utterly shattered. Tragic doesn\u2019t even touch it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Karoliewicz\u2019s parents, Steve and Becky Lawwill, also shared a heartbreaking post \u2014 a smiling family photo on the beach. <\/p>\n

\u201cSo grateful for the joy they brought into our life. We are just so shattered,\u201d they wrote. <\/p>\n

Karolkiewicz was a beloved substitute teacher for Grand Haven Area Public Schools. <\/p>\n

In January, the district shared a glowing review of the educator, boasting that she \u201cgoes above and beyond\u201d for students at Peach Plains Elementary School on Facebook.<\/p>\n

Superintendent Kristin Perowski shared a statement Friday evening addressing the situation, offering support to the school community and mental health resources. <\/p>\n

Karolkiewicz and her husband had been together for roughly 16 years, according to Kristopher\u2019s social media. <\/p>\n

\u201cGoing on 10 years with this pretty lady. I\u2019m a very lucky guy,\u201d he captioned a photo on Facebook with his wife in 2019.<\/p>\n

The Lawwills declined comment to The Post, while awaiting further details from the medical examiner\u2019s office.<\/p>\n

Capt. Jacob Sparks of the Ottawa County Sheriff\u2019s Office described the grim scene as \u201ccomplicated\u201d during a news conference. <\/p>\n

Firefighters were in the area earlier that morning after reports of the smell of smoke between 8:30 a.m. and 9 a.m., but weren\u2019t able to locate the source, Fox News reported. The investigation remains ongoing.<\/p>\n

The Ottawa County sheriff\u2019s and medical examiner\u2019s offices did not return requests for comment. <\/p>\n
