They\u2019re dolling up the trans agenda \u2014 and taxpayers are footing the bill.<\/p>\n

\u201cFirst-of-their-kind\u201d transgender dolls \u2014 complete with removable genitalia \u2014 will debut in some Minnesota classrooms this fall to kids as young as 4 years old.<\/p>\n

The paper dolls, with gender-neutral names like \u201cSam,\u201d \u201cRory,\u201d \u201cAvery\u201d and \u201cParker,\u201d have removable internal and external genitals, along with more than 100 interchangeable pieces of clothing, accessories and hairstyles \u2014 like a trans Mr.\/Mrs. Potato Head.<\/p>\n

The goal is for kids to \u201clearn about the different options that exist for who they can be,\u201d according to a therapist at the University of Minnesota Medical School, which spent over half a decade developing the controversial project funded by lefty Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz <\/p>\n

The Medical School\u2019s Institute for Sexual and Gender Health research over those six years included paying $20 to $60 for \u201ctrans and gender diverse\u201d children and their parents to play with the dolls and \u201ctalk about gender and bodies\u201d in groups.<\/p>\n

Prototypes of the dolls were shown in a 2024 conference where one named \u201cSam\u201d can be seen in what appears to be some phase of a gender transition, with a detachable penis off to the side, and a dress and girls\u2019 underwear within reach.<\/p>\n

The trans dolls \u2014 which promise to \u201cmake gender fun\u201d \u2014 will be made available to teachers, school counselors, pediatricians and mental health providers, according to a website of the \u201cMyGender Dolls\u201d company. It features an image of a boy doll wearing a dress and others in various states of sexual identity confusion.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not known whether parents \u2014 or children themselves \u2014 will be able to order a doll, or if they will only be marketed to professionals and schools. It is not known if parents will be able to opt out of such \u201ctherapeutic play\u201d for their kids.<\/p>\n

The dolls began as a University of Minnesota research project, which was later spun into a commercial venture \u2014 \u201cMyGender Dolls\u201d \u2014 by two licensed psychologists who are professors at the medical school.<\/p>\n

The website does not reveal the cost of the paper dolls.<\/p>\n

The University of Minnesota\u2019s Medical School has been receiving $15 million annual funding from the state via Walz \u2014 cash earmarked to \u201cincrease the medical school\u2019s research capacity\u201d and \u201censure its national prominence.\u201d<\/p>\n

But the school doesn\u2019t report how much it funnels to its Institute for Sexual and Gender Health, which has a total research budget of $1.4 million, according to its . <\/p>\n

Walz, who\u2019s pushed pro-transgender policies on the Midwestern state, was bestowed the institute\u2019s inaugural \u201cDistinguished Sexual and Gender Health Champion Award\u201d in 2023, a title created just for him. <\/p>\n

The scandal-plagued governor was even pictured with a wide grin alongside Medical School Associate Professor Nic Rider \u2014 co-founder of MyGender Dolls, which is bringing the radical dolls to market.<\/p>\n

Rider, a psychologist who specializes in children and teen transgender health, goes by they\/them pronouns, according to a bio on the medical school\u2019s website.<\/p>\n

They didn\u2019t return The Post\u2019s request for comment. Neither did Associate Professor Dianne Berg, the other co-founder, but in a since deleted 2020 article in a university publication, she boasted about genitals being a key part of the twisted research project.<\/p>\n

\u201cEveryone should be learning that there\u2019s diversity in gender identity and that what makes you real is not what your body parts are, but how you think and feel,\u201d she told the university\u2019s Discovery Magazine, adding she had already begun using the dolls with her own patients, who were between 5 and 10 years old.<\/p>\n

Other therapists from the university\u2019s medical school said they used the dolls to get the kids talking about their private parts.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were able to explore and brainstorm not just what our bodies are able to do now but what we want our bodies to do and look like in the future,\u201d bragged Adjunct Assistant Professor Elizabeth Panetta.<\/p>\n

Critics say the dolls risk being misused by adults who want to push their ideologies on vulnerable children.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey will find anybody who\u2019s in trouble and use this as a tool to say, \u2018this is why you\u2019re unhappy.\u2019 This is absolutely grooming,\u201d slammed Dr. Quentin Van Meter, past president of the American College of Pediatricians.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe younger kids \u2014 many of them still believe in the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy. And you\u2019re then presenting them with paper dolls that kind of look fun, and you can change clothing, hair, genitals\u2026 It\u2019s well beyond their ability to sort out fantasy from reality.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s profoundly inappropriate.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n<\/div>\n

When reached by The Post, a university spokesperson claimed no public funds were used \u201cto support MyGender Dolls\u2019 commercialization efforts.\u201d<\/p>\n

But when pressed on how much taxpayer\u00a0money went to research and development of the dolls, and to the salaries of the professors involved in the project, the university refused to answer, telling The Post instead to file a freedom of information request.<\/p>\n
