The ex-husband of killer Massachusetts mom Lindsay Clancy has quietly started over in New York City \u2013 and remarried after meeting a fertility specialist doctor.<\/p>\n

Patrick Clancy moved to Manhattan about four months after he found his three young children strangled to death by his ex-wife in their Duxbury, Mass. home in January 2023, public records obtained by The Post revealed.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Now, the 38-year-old Microsoft employee lives in a Midtown Manhattan high-rise with his new love, Dr. Rachel Danis.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Danis, 37, works as a reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist at an NYC-based reproductive clinic, according to her professional bio.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Heart-warming photos uploaded to social media chronicle the couple\u2019s love story, including pics of them attending the same Barry\u2019s workout class and smiling ear-to-ear while posing together at the NYC Marathon in November 2025.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The duo tied the knot in April this year during an intimate ceremony at the Ladies Pavilion in Central Park, followed by a celebration with friends and family at the nearby restaurant Sarabeth\u2019s, the Daily Mail reported.<\/p>\n

\u201cPat has obviously gone through an incredible trauma, and Rachel is a nurturing person by nature,\u201d an unidentified friend of the couple told the outlet.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cShe is upbeat, smiling, vivacious and full of energy. It\u2019s fitting that she helps create life in the face of this tragedy,\u201d the pal added, referring to Danis\u2019 job.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Danis also serves as an assistant clinical professor in the Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science Department at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.<\/p>\n

\u201cRachel has a heart of gold\u2026If she can take a guy and try to heal him, that\u2019s what she would do,\u201d the friend continued, and praised Patrick for refusing to let his children\u2019s murders define the rest of his life.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cA lot of people would recoil and just\u2026be a shadow of their former self and never move on. So I admire this guy \u2013 I really do,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Despite the killings and their divorce, Patrick has remained publicly supportive of his ex-wife \u2013 and even urged others to forgive her unthinkable crime.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI wasn\u2019t married to a monster \u2013 I was married to someone who got sick,\u201d he told the New Yorker in October 2024.\u00a0<\/p>\n

As Clancy\u2019s triple-murder trial gets underway in Plymouth County, Patrick is expected to appear as the first witness to take the stand Monday.<\/p>\n

He is going to testify for the prosecution first, though he\u2019s also on the defense team\u2019s witness list, according to the Boston Globe.<\/p>\n

The slain kids\u2019 father will likely face questions about his marriage with Clancy, their home life and his perception of his then-wife\u2019s mental state leading up to the grisly killings, as well as his version of events that fateful day, the outlet reported.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Clancy\u2019s attorney, Kevin Reddington, will then have the opportunity to cross-examine Patrick and bring up points that are essential to the defense\u2019s insanity argument, including the mom\u2019s repeated efforts to get help for postpartum psychosis.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The trial\u2019s outcome will hinge on whether jurors believe the former nurse was suffering from a psychiatric episode, worsened by a cocktail of antipsychotic medications, when she strangled the children to death, experts previously told The Post.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Clancy is accused of using exercise bands to fatally strangle her kids in the basement of the family\u2019s home before becoming paralyzed from the waist down from the botched bid to kill herself.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Prosecutors are expected to argue that the mother wasn\u2019t suffering a mental break \u2013 rather, that she was lucid enough to methodically plan how to get her then-husband out of the house that day so she could be alone with their children: Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and 8-month-old Callan.<\/p>\n

Patrick filed a last-minute motion last week seeking to prevent the public from hearing his 911 call recording, as well as seeing any \u201cpre-incident,\u201d crime scene or autopsy photographs of the three kids, during the trial, according to court papers.<\/p>\n

He also requested that the display of any clothing that once belonged to his children be restricted in the courtroom.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Judge Sullivan reportedly granted the motion Friday, ordering media not to record, display, reproduce, distribute or otherwise disseminate the 911 call and autopsy photos.<\/p>\n

However, the evidence will be shown to everyone present in the courtroom \u2013 and reporters are allowed to discuss its contents, WCVB reported.<\/p>\n
