He should do go ahead and do it.<\/p>\n

The Iranians plainly don\u2019t want a deal \u2014 at least, not the ones (literally) calling the shots, who keep killing American servicemen and -women across the region.<\/p>\n

And not the ones running internal propaganda, who are instead putting up billboards of faked Melania, Barron and Ivanka corpses.<\/p>\n

Tehran\u2019s still tapping us along, sending out negotiators who can\u2019t actually deliver peace while the men behind the scenes exploit our forbearance to push Iran\u2019s claims to own the Strait of Hormuz and now, via the Houthis, another chokepoint on the Red Sea.<\/p>\n

Talking<\/em> about \u201ca head for an eye\u201d isn\u2019t convincing Iran\u2019s true leaders that America means business; it\u2019s going to take that \u201cmassive attack\u201d to genuinely get them to the table.<\/p>\n

And quite possibly days<\/em> of continued attacks until both sides reach a genuine accord.<\/p>\n

This doesn\u2019t mean boots on the ground (though that threat must remain visibly on the table), but heavy and well-placed strikes.<\/p>\n

Devastation that the Revolutionary Guard chiefs see, bombs that they hear \u2014 explosions that hit them.<\/em><\/p>\n

They\u2019ve made it unmistakable: They see US restraint as a sign of weakness; the only way to show them we\u2019re serious is to go big.<\/p>\n
