Brooke Baldwin is opening up about her sex life in startlingly candid fashion \u2014 declaring she\u2019s \u201cpretty damn good\u201d in bed, revealing four different men recently tried to sleep with her and insisting casual sex was \u201cvery much on the table\u201d before she turned them all down.<\/p>\n

The former CNN anchor, 47, made the eyebrow-raising admissions in a Substack post published over the weekend, writing that she had recently rejoined a dating app and found herself fielding attention from four men \u2014 including one who \u201cused to run a country,\u201d another who \u201cliterally flew in just to take me to dinner,\u201d and a third she described simply as \u201chot.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBottom line? I am flattered,\u201d Baldwin initially wrote before catching herself.<\/p>\n

\u201cHang on. Am I???\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s so old-school-Brooke-I-just-want-to-be-Chosen talking. No. I\u2019m not flattered. I\u2019m\u2026 unsurprised. There. There\u2019s the truth.\u201d<\/p>\n

The veteran broadcaster, who was previously married to British producer James Fletcher before she filed for divorce in 2023, said she ultimately rejected all four men despite describing herself as someone who enjoys sex.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat did I do?\u201d Baldwin wrote. \u201cTurned them all down. Every. Single. One.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd y\u2019all know\u2026 I love sex. If I may be so bold, I\u2019m pretty damn good at it.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added that she has previously written that \u201csex to me is like oxygen\u201d and said she has been upfront that she is \u201cnot looking for a serious relationship right now.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSo casual sex? It\u2019s very much on the table. I\u2019ve thought about it. A lot,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt could be empowering. It would almost certainly be pleasurable. And I\u2019m a grown-ass woman with choices.\u201d<\/p>\n

Baldwin said she nevertheless decided against sleeping with any of the men because she wants to devote her energy to what she described as a larger purpose.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn this particular season of my life, I care too much about what I\u2019m building to let my energy scatter in a dozen directions,\u201d she wrote, describing that philosophy with a single word: \u201cLEAKY.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt isn\u2019t punishment. It\u2019s protection. Protection of the life I\u2019m trying to build.\u201d<\/p>\n

She also revealed that she thought she would be getting married this year before a relationship ended.<\/p>\n

\u201cSix months ago, I thought I was going to marry someone this year (and I was excited about it),\u201d Baldwin wrote. \u201cHeartbreak has its own timeline.\u201d<\/p>\n

The former cable news anchor said she briefly rejoined a dating app after deleting it within days on an earlier attempt.<\/p>\n

Part of her profile described her as a \u201cserial monogamist\u2026 but taking a break from that for the first time in my life.\u201d<\/p>\n

The post is the latest deeply personal essay from Baldwin, who has increasingly used her Substack to chronicle her life since leaving CNN in 2021.<\/p>\n

Earlier this month, Baldwin revealed for the first time that she believes she was sexually assaulted after two older men allegedly slipped something into her drink during a spring break trip to Los Angeles when she was 21.<\/p>\n

She wrote that two older men offered to buy her a drink while she was alone at a Beverly Hills bar before her memories became \u201conly in flashes.\u201d Baldwin said she later woke up on the bathroom floor of the Chateau Marmont hotel alongside a man she did not know.<\/p>\n

The alleged assault occurred decades before Baldwin publicly discussed it.<\/p>\n

Baldwin also alleged that her exit from CNN was not entirely voluntary despite publicly framing it that way at the time.<\/p>\n

In a 2024 Vanity Fair essay, she wrote that a deteriorating relationship with an executive producer prompted her to ask then-CNN president Jeff Zucker to move him off her team.<\/p>\n

Baldwin wrote that she felt the producer had subjected her to \u201cgaslighting,\u201d \u201cmanipulation\u201d and \u201cbullying\u201d while saying he would sometimes stop communicating with her during live broadcasts.<\/p>\n

Baldwin claimed Zucker rejected her request and that the dispute marked \u201cthe beginning of the end.\u201d She later alleged her lawyers negotiated an exit after her agent informed her that \u201cJeff wanted me out,\u201d allowing her to announce her departure on her own show.<\/p>\n

In a statement to The Post, Baldwin said her weekly Substack is intended to chronicle \u201ctruth and transformation,\u201d and that her latest essay was about \u201cmy heartbreak, this season of discernment and discipline, and yes \u2014 for my readers \u2014 that includes my sex life. Or, at the moment, my intentional choice not to have one.\u201d<\/p>\n

Baldwin said she believes the broader message of the essay has been overshadowed by readers reacting to headlines instead of the full piece.<\/p>\n

\u201cToo often in America today, we don\u2019t actually read or listen anymore,\u201d she said. \u201cWhen did we stop reading an article all the way through? When did we stop listening with curiosity instead of certainty?\u201d<\/p>\n

Baldwin added that the reaction from \u201ccertain people who clearly didn\u2019t read the entire piece\u201d has only strengthened her desire to return to journalism.<\/p>\n

\u201cI plan to get out into America very soon, listen and tell stories rooted in curiosity, nuance, and humanity rather than outrage,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
