If you wondered how communism has grabbed a foothold in the United States of America of all places, look no further than the Smithsonian Institution.<\/p>\n

The world\u2019s largest and most influential museum has been hijacked by Marxist ideology to teach self-loathing anti-American woke propaganda to its 20 million annual visitors plus 20 million students a year.<\/p>\n

The Smithsonian teaches that \u201cpoliteness,\u201d \u201cpunctuality,\u201d \u201cobjectivity\u201d and \u201chard work\u201d is white supremacy, and that Mickey Mouse is a form of blackface, while devoting not one major exhibit to \u00adGeorge Washington or any of the Founding Fathers.<\/p>\n

It does teach that Benjamin Franklin was a vile slave owner who owed his discoveries to his slaves and that Christopher Columbus was a psychopathic killer and racist and that we live on \u00adstolen land.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, it celebrates transgenderism, bondage and sadomasochism in various sexually explicit exhibits. It says illegal migrants deserve the right to vote.<\/p>\n

During the Black Lives Matter riots of 2020, the Smithsonian\u2019s woke Secretary Lonnie Bunch sent curators onto the streets to collect trash left behind by arsonists, vandals, looters and useful idiots as \u201chistorical artifacts that need to be collected and saved for posterity,\u201d according to the Heritage Foundation, which has been chronicling the downfall of a once-great 179-year-old institution.<\/p>\n

Generations of American children have been brought up to revere the Smithsonian. <\/p>\n

Yet it abuses its $1.3 billion annual budget \u2014 62% from the taxpayer \u2014 to persuade impressionable minds that everything about America is irredeemably racist and evil and must be dismantled.<\/p>\n

\u2018Tool of social justice\u2019<\/h2>\n

And the supercilious congressional testimony this week of Smithsonian boss Anthea Hartig shows that she has no intention of changing a thing.<\/p>\n

A California transplant who once described herself as \u201cpropped up .\u2009.\u2009. by the cushions of whiteness and the pillows of the bourgeoisie\u201d has described history as a \u201cprime tool of social justice\u201d and noted how \u201cwe work to reframe the traditional celebratory narrative of US history for visitors.\u201d<\/p>\n

Grilled by Texas Republican Rep. Brandon Gill Tuesday, she dripped with arrogance, defiance and elitist contempt.<\/p>\n

\u201cIs Mickey Mouse racist?\u201d Gill asked her.<\/p>\n

\u201cMickey Mouse is not racist,\u201d she replied.<\/p>\n

\u201cAccording to .\u2009.\u2009. one of your exhibits, Mickey Mouse represents \u2018vestiges of long-standing traditions of blackface minstrelsy.\u2019 Would you describe that as racist?\u201d Gill asked.<\/p>\n

Hartig then launched into a waffling mini-dissertation of Mickey\u2019s \u201chistorical trajectory\u201d to avoid the question before Gill forced her into admitting she believes that the beloved mouse is \u201crooted in minstrelsy [with] certain obvious racial overtones.\u201d<\/p>\n
