A disgruntled migrant allegedly gunned down three staffers at his Minnesota apartment block in a crazed rampage after he couldn\u2019t cancel his parking garage contract.<\/p>\n

Tsegaab Binessu, 30, allegedly shot dead Nansi Fuentes Zambrano, 25, Dena Silcox, 56, and Adam Wilwerding, 43, at the complex in St. Paul, Minnesota, Monday, KSTP reported.<\/p>\n

Binessu, originally from Ethiopia, wanted to cancel his $65-a-month parking garage contract as he had aspirations to join the Navy, documents seen by the outlet claim.\u00a0<\/p>\n

He called staffers regarding the cancellation process, but they said he couldn\u2019t opt out after just renewing his contract.<\/p>\n

Binessu then told the workers he was going to go down to the leasing office \u2013 before launching his alleged rampage.<\/p>\n

He \u201cwent to the leasing office a short time after that phone call and he executed three workers,\u201d the court documents state.\u00a0<\/p>\n

He is accused of shooting Wilwerding, a community manager known affectionately as AJ, six times and Silcox six times.<\/p>\n

Silcox, who was the assistant manager having worked in the office for almost a decade, reportedly screamed \u201cNo, no \u2013 no no\u201d when Wilwerding was shot.\u00a0<\/p>\n

She was shot five times in \u201crapid succession\u201d before Binessu allegedly fired another gunshot, which sent her crashing to the floor, the court documents said, according to the St. Paul Pioneer Press.<\/p>\n

A scream was heard on surveillance video and Binessu allegedly fired four more shots.<\/p>\n

Fuentes Zambrano was found dead in a room at the back of the office \u2013 and she tried to escape through a window when she was shot.\u00a0She was found with a gunshot in her head.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Investigators found 21 spent shell casings in the office, according to the documents.<\/p>\n

Binessu was arrested in Virginia, Minn. \u2013 around 200 miles from the crime scene \u2013 and reportedly confessed to the killings in a call with his roommate, who later called the cops.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The alleged shooter told his roommate \u201che had argued with apartment management and ended up killing three people,\u201d the court documents state.<\/p>\n

Binessu was arrested driving Fuentes Zambrano\u2019s car and he moaned that he \u201chated the American system\u201d during his interrogation.<\/p>\n

He claimed he had been trying for seven years to bring his wife and kids from Ethiopia \u2013 but he had been stymied due to the immigration process.<\/p>\n

Binessu said the ordeal had contributed to his divorce from his spouse.<\/p>\n

\u201cBinessu believes he was treated unfairly because he is black and an immigrant,\u201d the court documents stated.<\/p>\n

\u201cBinessu repeatedly said he has lost everything he cared about: his wife, his children, his business, his peace of mind. Binessu said life without his family no longer made sense.\u201d<\/p>\n

He also told investigators that he quit his truck driver job because of stress.<\/p>\n

But Binessu was tight-lipped on what allegedly unfolded inside the leasing office.<\/p>\n

Binessu was charged with second-degree murder and is set to appear in court Wednesday. He faces 40 years in prison for each murder.<\/p>\n

Tributes have poured in for the victims. Silcox\u2019s devastated friends said she was someone with a \u201cvibrant spirit\u201d which \u201cbrought joy to everyone who knew her.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHer sudden and violent passing has left us all in shock,\u201d they said in a fundraiser.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cDena\u2019s children, who meant the world to her, are facing this unimaginable time with bravery and love.\u201d<\/p>\n

At a vigil held Tuesday, Silcox\u2019s dad Robert described her as a \u201cfabulous piano player,\u201d while her younger brother Erik said she had \u201ca fire in her belly,\u201d KARE 11 reported.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Zambrano\u2019s pal Estreya Velazquez said, \u201cShe deserved so much more than what was given to her.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ashley Chester, who lives in the apartment complex, paid tribute to Wilwerding, saying he was loved by all of the tenants.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey were just good people, really good people, and you can tell because there\u2019s residents that\u2019s been here for years, and that says a lot,\u201d she said of the three people killed and those who attended the vigil in their memory.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re definitely together, and we\u2019re going to stay together. We\u2019re family now, at this point.\u201d<\/p>\n
