Caitlin Clark had the hot hand Friday.<\/p>\n

Clark had her best WNBA performance to date during the Fever\u2019s 110-107 win over the Storm, leading Indiana with a career-high 45 points on 11-of-18 shooting, along with 10 assists, four steals and two blocks.<\/p>\n

Adding to the historic night, she also became the first player in WNBA history to record at least 40 points and 10 assists in a game.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just thought I was aggressive from the start,\u201d Clark said in a sideline interview after the game. \u201cMiss a shot, come back and make the next. My team needed me to step up. \u2026 This game was great, but let\u2019s move on to the next one.\u201d<\/p>\n

Her 45 points surpassed her previous career high of 35, which she achieved during a game against the Wings in her rookie season.<\/p>\n

The performance also puts Clark in the Fever history books, as she now holds the most points in a single game for Indiana.<\/p>\n

\u201cI mean it\u2019s cool, I don\u2019t really care,\u201d Clark said of her performance. \u201cI know what I\u2019m capable of. I know what this team is capable of and it\u2019s my job to help us win and be the best team in the WNBA.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t think we\u2019re there yet and it\u2019s my responsibility to get us there, so we\u2019ll keep working.\u201d<\/p>\n

During the game, Clark also became the fastest player in WNBA history to reach 200 career 3-pointers with a shot midway through the second quarter.<\/p>\n

Clark, who made 200 3-point shots in 74 games, surpassed former Wild player Katie Smith, who hit the mark in 81 games from 1999-2001.<\/p>\n

Headed into Friday\u2019s game, Fever coach Stephanie White told reporters that Clark was on a minutes restriction as she recovers from a nagging back injury she\u2019s dealt with since the start of the 2026 season.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel like you just have to believe you\u2019re going to have those type of nights,\u201d Clark added afterward. \u201cAnd you have to visualize having those type of nights. I feel like that\u2019s what I did.\u201d<\/p>\n

Clark wound up playing 29 minutes during the game, which is right around her average of 29.5 minutes played across this season.<\/p>\n
