Legendary ex-WFAN host Mike Francesa\u2019s Long Island home sold for $7.5 million, according to Newsday, with a Coldwell Banker listing matching the property\u2019s description stating the sale happened Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Francesa, 72, made a nice profit on the sale, having purchased the Manhasset residence for $5.2 million in 2008, per the listing.<\/p>\n

The property spans approximately 1 1\/2 acres, with the house filling 7,204 square feet and a cottage \u2014 featuring a golf simulator, kitchen and 2 1\/2 full baths \u2014 sprawling 1,275 square feet.<\/p>\n

The house is listed as having 20 total rooms, five bedrooms, 11 bathrooms (seven full, four half), four fireplaces, four patios, two walk-in closets, a spa bath, an elevator and outdoor kitchen.<\/p>\n

The large estate, which was built in 1940 and remodeled in 2009, also features plenty of amenities, including a tennis court, bocce court, golf putting green and 20-by-40 gunite pool.<\/p>\n

The taxes are listed at $74,818.<\/p>\n

Francesa had been trying to sell the property for several years, per the listing, with the residence being listed in 2023 for $10.5 million before dipping to $9.5 million in 2024 and $8.6 million in June 2025.<\/p>\n

The sides came to agreement on April 23, per the listing.<\/p>\n

Francesa is a Long Island native, having grown up in Long Beach before graduating from St. John\u2019s.<\/p>\n

He told the Sun Sentinel in 2019 he purchased property in Florida and planned to live there more once his children \u2014 Jack, Emily and Harrison \u2014 were in college.<\/p>\n

All three have at least started college, as of 2026.<\/p>\n

The iconic New York Sports radio personality now hosts his own self-named podcast after his legendary 30-plus-year WFAN run that began in 1989 and included some retirements and un-retirement.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s most known for co-hosting the popular \u201cMike and the Mad Dog\u201d show alongside Chris Russo.<\/p>\n
