Whenever necessary, we are capable of doing that,\u201d claimed Hossein Kanani Moghaddam, a former senior commander in Iran\u2019s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, to the Iranian news website Fararu.<\/p>\n<p>The general meanwhile asserted that his country is not aiming for peace from the current US-Iran talks \u2014 and refused to rule out \u201crevenge\u201d against America for the war.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are not negotiating with the Americans for peace. We are negotiating to reduce tensions,\u201d Moghaddam said, adding that Iran\u2019s talks with Washington are intended to strengthen the Islamic Republic\u2019s demands.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are not negotiating for peace with Trump and his criminal aides.
