A transgender activist and former campaign volunteer for a Democratic congressional candidate in Wisconsin called for deadly violence against Republicans \u2014 and vowed to unleash \u201ctrans jihad\u201d against the \u201canimals\u201d in the MAGA movement in a series of unhinged videos on social media.<\/p>\n

In one such posting, Teha Delaruelle, who briefly volunteered on the campaign of Wisconsin Democratic Socialist Katrina deVille, who is also transgender, sits in front of a dry-erase board scrawled with \u201ckill your local Republican\u201d in black marker.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re going to make this the moderate position for the state of Wisconsin,\u201d Delaruelle says while pointing at the sick message. <\/p>\n

\u201cBut I need your help, because we have one month do to this, so let\u2019s do it,\u201d the activist says, flashing a double thumbs-up.<\/p>\n

The timeframe is presumably a reference to deVille\u2019s upcoming Aug. 11 Democratic primary, in which deVille is vying with two other Democrats to unseat GOP incumbent and staunch Trump ally Rep. Tony Wied.<\/p>\n

In another twisted video, Delaruelle, a biological male who identifies as female, declared, \u201cJust a reminder, we are doing trans jihad,\u201d with a superimposed trans flag in the foreground featuring an outstretched arm holding a rifle with what looks like Arabic writing above it.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s about making the oppressor, the bigots, the animals that make up MAGA, for example, right? So for decades, everyone else, all the marginalized, minorities, we\u2019ve had to be the ones that walk down the streets with anxiety, with fear, but no, no more, no, no, no, no, no, no more, folks,\u201d Delaruelle states disjointedly in the recording.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re gonna do the reverse. We\u2019re gonna make it so that they will be the ones that have to walk down the streets in fear, anxiety and worry. And we\u2019re not gonna make this like, oh, they gotta do this for like, a week or something, where they get really scared. No, this is their new reality. And it\u2019s never gonna change,\u201d the crazed activist pledges before ponderously holding up two fingers and saying \u201cpeace.\u201d<\/p>\n

In an equally deranged Substack post along the same theme from earlier this month, Delaruelle bemoans what he calls an ongoing \u201cgenocide\u201d against \u201ctrans and queer folk,\u201d and says the only way to meet the threat is to wage war.<\/p>\n

\u201cSociety desires nothing less than our total extermination, therefore we must destroy their society. We must answer this call to a [sic] existential struggle, our jihad, our Trans Jihad.\u201d<\/p>\n

Reached by email Thursday morning, deVille said Delaruelle was a campaign volunteer for a \u201cvery short while\u201d but was removed when it became apparent they were \u201cdeeply troubled,\u201d and later blocked from all of her accounts and pages \u201cbecause they were actively creating a dangerous situation around my campaign.\u201d <\/p>\n

DeVille also denounced the former-volunteer\u2019s alarming calls for violence against Republicans.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to be clear that I do not accept or condone violence or threats toward anyone and do not encourage violence, hate, or threats of any kind,\u201d deVille said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe threats she has posed have also made my life more dangerous, and I understand first hand how awful this is, how awful it feels, and how absolutely unacceptable any of this is.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI also hope that she is able to get help and find peace, and that no one becomes hurt or endangered from this senseless situation.\u201d<\/p>\n
