Ashley Perez, the ex-wife of pro golfer Pat Perez, addressed public support she received after a Skratch report alleged that three-time Masters champ Phil Mickelson allegedly tried to seduce her in 2015. <\/p>\n

\u201cI will rise up and stand next to the millions of women who have been silenced to protect the evil and darkness that lurks amongst us,\u201d Ashley wrote in a Instagram Story post, including a photo of her in Las Vegas wearing a bedazzled jumpsuit. <\/p>\n

\u201cThank you dearly for all of the love and support. My heart goes out to the countless other victims.\u201d <\/p>\n

Ashley, who filed for divorce from Perez in November 2023, did not name anyone in her post. <\/p>\n

It came after Skratch report\u00a0by Alan Shipnuck on Friday said Ashley alleged that Mickelson showed her a nude photo of himself while she and Perez were staying with him at his villa for the PGA Tour\u2019s Barclays tournament at Plainfield CC in Edison, N.J.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen Pat excused himself to use the restroom, Ashley says Mickelson took out his phone and showed her a full-body picture of himself naked with an erection while flexing one bicep,\u201d Shipnuck wrote, adding that the trio were drinking wine on the property\u2019s patio.<\/p>\n

The report said that Ashley claimed Mickelson then told her, \u201cI\u2019m going to leave my bedroom door open tonight. When Pat falls asleep I want you to come see me.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Ashley objected, and told Perez about Mickelson\u2019s advances after the tournament. <\/p>\n

Mickelson, who\u2019s been married to his wife Amy for 30 years, apologized to Perez on two separate occasions for his behavior, including a lengthy phone call, according to the Skratch report. <\/p>\n

\u201cThroughout the 26-minute phone call, Mickelson alternated between contrition and saying he didn\u2019t remember the details of that night,\u201d Shipnuck wrote.<\/p>\n

\u201cWithout admitting what he had done, Mickelson apologized directly to both Pat and Ashley and said, \u2018I can\u2019t tell you how disgusted and embarrassed I am in myself.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

The phone call took place after Perez\u2019s comments during a November 2022 podcast that he had \u201ca different hate for Phil than most people.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mickelson\u2019s attorney, Tom Clare, called the report \u201creckless\u201d in a statement to The California Post on Friday.<\/p>\n

\u201cA small segment of the golf media has decided that because Mr. Mickelson is a successful golfer, every detail of his private and family life is theirs to exploit,\u201d Clare said. \u201cRecycling mistakes he has already acknowledged as new reporting, and dragging private family matters into public view, is reckless. It is the pursuit of clicks at the expense of the truth. Do better.\u201d<\/p>\n

Clare added that Shipnuck\u2019s article did not include his statement, despite sending it to the outlet prior to publication. <\/p>\n

A spokeswoman for Mickelson \u2014 who\u2019s been a part of the LIV Golf league since 2022 \u2014 said of the matter, \u201cSome of the allegations circulating about Mr. Mickelson are false, and others revisit mistakes he has already acknowledged, publicly or privately. Stacking the disputed claims next to the ones he has owned does not make them credible. It instead contributes to a false and misleading narrative.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo person, no article, and no book can present an accurate, complete, or personal story of the life Mr. Mickelson and his family have lived. His story, struggles, and recovery belong to him and to the people who have shared it closely alongside him. \u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cRecovery is not a straight line. Throughout their 35-year relationship, his wife, Amy Mickelson, has supported Mr. Mickelson and their family with extraordinary grace, unwavering love, and the belief that people are measured not only by their failures, but by what they do to make them right.\u201d <\/p>\n

Mickelson has been\u00a0away from professional golf\u00a0since February to\u00a0tend to a family matter, he previously shared. <\/p>\n

Earlier this year, Mickelson was accused of making \u201cnonconsensual and inappropriate physical contact\u201d with a female employee at The Farms Golf Club in Rancho Santa Fe. \u00a0<\/p>\n

Perez began his role as a on-course analyst and broadcaster for the LIV Golf TV in 2025 after competing for three seasons (2022\u20132024) with Dustin Johnson\u2019s 4Aces GC. <\/p>\n
