Iranian state media bragged that the Islamic Republic\u2019s Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi snubbed Vice President JD Vance during a photo op opportunity before peace talks Sunday.<\/p>\n

Footage showed Araqchi walking into the room where Vance, the US delegation, and mediators were, in front of the cameras, and then leaving after embracing Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.<\/p>\n

Vance was in the corner during the encounter. Iranian state media claimed that its delegation refused to participate in any joint media appearance before talks took place.<\/p>\n

\u201cIranian representatives previously agreed to a press availability at the beginning of the meeting,\u201d a US official explained to The Post.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey even brought state media with them to cover it, who were pre-staged at the event.\u201d<\/p>\n
