Knicks owner James Dolan appeared to throw shade on Mayor Zohran Mamdani when he told revelers \u201cI don\u2019t need your vote\u201d right after Hizzoner pumped out a speech heavy on Knicks history and their playoff run.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t need your vote, I don\u2019t need to quote to you, right, about what happened,\u201d Dolan said, \u201ccause if you\u2019re real Knicks fans, you know it already.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dolan\u2019s remarks came after Mamdani mentioned dozens of former Knicks and ran back some of the most memorable memories in the franchise\u2019s history, including giving shout outs to random former players like Jared Jeffries and Renaldo Balkman.<\/p>\n

He also highlighted some of the most incredible moments from the team\u2019s postseason run.<\/p>\n

The mayor and team owner were at odds during the Knicks\u2019 magical playoff run after the city slapped restrictions around Madison Square Garden for part of the NBA Finals.<\/p>\n
