Publishing insiders told us on Tuesday about the planned book that will be based on the model\u2019s candid essay titled, \u201cMotherf\u2013ker: After becoming a single mom, I spent several years compulsively dating. I was trying to figure out what kind of woman I wanted to be.\u201d<\/p>\n

The piece certainly hints at what could be a blockbuster book as a more modern \u201cSex and the City\u201d in the \u201cCall Her Daddy\u201d and\u00a0Tinx<\/strong>\u00a0era from the\u00a0author\u00a0of the 2021 tome, \u201cMy Body.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ratajkowski doesn\u2019t name names in The Cut essay. But a tome would likely spark an epic guessing game.<\/p>\n

During her time being single, the model was allegedly linked to famous dudes including\u00a0Brad Pitt, Pete Davidson, Eric Andre, Harry Styles<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Shaboozey<\/strong>. She\u2019d also been spotted out with\u00a0Austin Butler<\/strong>, though sources said they were just friendly.<\/p>\n

The book would also seemingly be a hot film project, and could shed further light on the star\u2019s dramatic breakup from \u201cUncut Gems\u201d producer Sebastian Bear-McClard<\/strong> as well as her subsequent romantic escapades and life lessons.<\/p>\n

\u201cRead what I discovered about power, men, sex and most importantly: myself,\u201d the model posted on Instagram to her nearly 28 million followers to announce the essay last week before it\u00a0blew up.<\/p>\n

In the piece, filled with juicy anecdotes, Ratajkowski revealed that after her 2022 split from\u00a0Sebastian Bear-McClard<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 and what had become a sexless marriage \u2014 she went into a period of \u201ccompulsive dating,\u201d and, \u201cdecided to f\u2013k my way into a new kind of woman,\u201d while, \u201cdoing it for the plot\u201d became her mantra.<\/p>\n

She detailed her dalliances with a string of suitors, including an ineptly dirty-talking \u201cElder Millennial,\u201d a \u201cVegan Graffiti Artist with impeccable posture,\u201d the \u201cChef who thought he might have chlamydia,\u201d a \u201cSpanish Gen-Zer who couldn\u2019t stop sending me nudes\u201d and a \u201cheavily self-medicated Son of a Billionaire with questionable politics,\u201d as well as, \u201cseveral Italians\u201d and, of course, multiple DJs.<\/p>\n

Post-separation, the newly single mom and model, 35, cast herself as a real-life villain character she called \u201csexual but scary,\u201d and a drinker of many gin martinis on the dating scene. But after a spree of encounters, she later finds her edgy archetypal creation to be as much of a \u201csilly game of performances with no substance\u201d as when she\u2019d been misguidedly \u201cplaying the good girl\u201d in her 20s.<\/p>\n

\u201cSix months after my son was born, my husband and I stopped having sex,\u201d Ratajkowski wrote. \u201cLess than a year later, we separated.\u201d And, \u201cBefore my separation, I\u2019d never had a one-night stand. I\u2019d never slept with someone the same day I met them. In fact, I\u2019d only slept with eight people: four of whom had been live-in boyfriends, and one of whom was my male best friend in high school.\u201d<\/p>\n

The essay explicitly details her subsequent sexual conquests: \u201cI thought I\u2019d get some great orgasms and a few funny stories on the way too,\u201d the author recalls of the experience. EmRata also learns along the way that, \u201cmany men are turned on by motherhood,\u201d while her female friends are turned on hearing about the anecdotes of sleeping with anyone besides their husbands.<\/p>\n

The fact that she\u2019s already penned a book, plus the booming viral numbers on The Cut essay and its racy content could be an enticing package for publishers who are increasingly looking at social media numbers as barometers for what to buy.<\/p>\n
