Spencer Pratt is coming to the defense of a baker who lost everything in the Palisades Fire after she was allegedly attacked by Jimmy Kimmel\u2019s relative for selling pro-Pratt cookies.<\/p>\n

Daniela Romano works out of the bakery at Vicente Foods in Brentwood and started selling cookies with a \u201cVote Pratt\u201d emblem on them earlier this week.<\/p>\n

The baked goods, a sugar cookie with decorated with the pro-Pratt design, started to gain popularity, selling in masses and drawing ire from Pratt\u2019s critics.<\/p>\n

Among the most vocal anti-cookie critics was allegedly Carly Kimmel, the sister-in-law of lefty late-night host Jimmy Kimmel. Carly is married to Jimmy\u2019s brother, Jonathan.<\/p>\n

The popular LA fashion and lifestyle boutique Kitson \u2014 which counts stars Paris Hilton, Kate Beckinsale, Angelina Jolie and Janet Jackson among its clientele \u2014 revealed in a social media post said that it \u201cspoke to a reliable source\u201d who said Carly threatened to never shop at Vicente Foods again if they continued to sell the cookies.<\/p>\n

Romano, like Pratt and his family, lost everything in the Palisades Fire \u2014 including her home and former business. She did not want to speak with The Post about the controversy surrounding the baked goods.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat woman (Kimmel) was trying to stop somebody from trying to support their family. I hope they (Kimmel family) go support a fire victim that lost everything and maybe make amends and buy some of these cookies, I think that would be a good apology,\u201d Pratt told The California Post Friday as he held a box of the cookies.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re doing a lot of things, but I\u2019ll always have time to support people that are trying to build back from nothing and that are being attacked by people that obviously don\u2019t understand that my message is common sense,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n

Pratt argued critics opposing his efforts are ignoring rising public safety and homelessness concerns in Los Angeles, and praised supporters for buying the cookies from a baker who is is \u201cfighting for LA.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSo, if you don\u2019t support what I\u2019m doing then you just want drug addicts that are naked in front of kids in parks, and you want people\u2019s arms getting hit with machetes in broad daylight on the sidewalk. So, I don\u2019t know what\u2019s going on with those people, but the people that are buying the cookies whose brains are functioning,\u201d he told The Post.<\/p>\n

\u201cI hear you can just eat them all day long and you don\u2019t even gain weight, I hear they\u2019re actually healthy cookies, they\u2019re delicious,\u201d he joked.<\/p>\n

The Post called about the availability of the cookies Friday morning around 11 a.m. and was told a new batch wouldn\u2019t be ready until 3 p.m. \u2014 as they were a hot selling item.<\/p>\n

Kimmel\u2019s social media profiles were marked private through the cookie scandal, but Kitson\u2019s social media page offered up a chance at redemption.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe bakery is coming out with Karen Bass cookies so people like you will not be outraged. We suggest you put in an order for 1,000 cookies so you can show some remorse and pass them around at the next Kimmel family function.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI couldn\u2019t be happier to help sell cookies now while also saving the city,\u201d Pratt said.<\/p>\n
