The war between Israel and Hezbollah continues to rage as President Trump and Iran inch closer to signing a historic peace deal.<\/p>\n

The Israel Defense Forces said they struck over 70 Hezbollah targets in Southern Lebanon and killed several terrorists Saturday.<\/p>\n

Over 20 Lebanese towns were given evacuation notices before Israeli forces pounded Hezbollah infrastructure and rocket launchers in Southern Lebanon.<\/p>\n

A soldier fighting for the Lebanese Armed Forces \u2014 the official state military of Lebanon and not affiliated with the Iranian terror proxy Hezbollah \u2014 was seriously wounded by an Israeli drone attack, the IDF claimed.<\/p>\n

Israeli forces continue to scan a massive Hezbollah tunnel system near the strategically significant Medieval era Beaufort Castle \u2014 which the IDF seized May 31 \u2014 and killed several Hezbollah terrorists attempting to emerge from the tunnels earlier in the week.<\/p>\n

Trump announced that a deal with Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and curtail the country\u2019s nuclear weapons program will be forged Sunday in a statement on Truth Social.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Deal is scheduled to get signed tomorrow, and immediately after it is signed, the Hormuz Strait is OPEN TO ALL,\u201d Trump posted.<\/p>\n

Israeli leaders are fretting over the potential deal, fearing it will leave their security concerns unaddressed as they claim they\u2019ve been shut out from the negotiating process.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo one is happy with this. We understand that it is not good for us and that it harms Israeli interests. What is troubling is that Israel cannot influence it. Its voice is not being heard,\u201d a senior Israeli official told Ynet.<\/p>\n

The deal, a Memorandum of Understanding with the Islamic Republic, would call for a 60-day cease-fire as the two sides hash out remaining issues surrounding Iran\u2019s nuclear program.<\/p>\n

Trump claimed the Iranian regime no longer wants a nuclear weapon, and boasted that the deal would serve as a wall between the supreme leader and a nuke.<\/p>\n

The deal would involve the US gradually lifting sanctions on Tehran as it takes steps to dismantle its nuclear program, senior Trump administration officials said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have structured this in a way where it\u2019s not built around trust, it\u2019s built around physical milestones, it\u2019s built around action, and it\u2019s built around verification,\u201d an administration official told reporters Friday.<\/p>\n

Israeli officials worry that the deal could limit their freedom of action in Lebanon and could infuse billions of dollars into the Iranian regime\u2019s coffers at a time when the Islamic Republic is at its weakest.<\/p>\n
