He made one tall order \u2014 and it got him thrown out.<\/p>\n

A Knicks fan is crying foul after he booked a penthouse at the Ritz-Carlton for Game 4 of the NBA Finals \u2014 but was allegedly kicked out of the $20,000 hotel room because of a demand from San Antonio Spurs superstar Victor Wembanyama.<\/p>\n

Pennsylvanian Phil Godlewski was with a party of six, who spent a total of $750,000 on tickets to Wednesday\u2019s game \u2014 and rented out one of the two penthouse suites on the 41st floor of the Ritz-Carlton on West 28th Street in NoMad.<\/p>\n

The Scranton entrepreneur \u2014 who was with his 11 and 9-year-old\u00a0sons and his friend Ron Pavalonis, and his son \u2014 wasn\u2019t told that Wemby was staying in the other penthouse suite.<\/p>\n

When Pavalonis was entering his room around 5 p.m., he said he saw Wemby exiting his own suite \u2014 presumably on his way to Madison Square Garden, and greeted the Spurs star player.<\/p>\n

\u201cI hear Ronnie say five words. That\u2019s all he said. \u2018Good luck tonight, big guy,’\u201d Godlewski, 43, told The Post.<\/p>\n

Just 10 minutes later, they got a knock on the door from the hotel\u2019s director of rooms operations, Jean Choi \u2014 which they did not hear since their room was so big. <\/p>\n

So Choi \u2014 along with three men in black suits \u2014 just let themselves in, Godlewski claimed.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey opened the door illegally, and they actually entered the vestibule area. And she\u2019s yelling from within the room, \u2018Mr. Godlewski!\u2019 I finally hear her and walk to the door and that\u2019s when she told me, \u2018I\u2019m sorry, but you guys are going to have to leave the premises.’\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI said, \u2018What? Why?\u2019 And she said, \u2018Because we were told you were harassing and waiting for the players to exit their rooms.’\u201d<\/p>\n

Godlewski insisted Choi check the security cameras to confirm their party did nothing wrong \u2014 but she allegedly told him there were no cameras on that floor.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd that was a lie because I literally look up, and there\u2019s a camera right over her head in the hallway,\u201d said Godlewski, who got the whole interaction with the hotel on camera and said he has already contacted a lawyer.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe was just trying to just get us the heck out of there. She didn\u2019t care what actually happened. She didn\u2019t care how it happened. All she cared about was Victor complained to his security team.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Godlewski said he understood the hotel taking precautions \u2014 since a Spurs fan was assaulted following Game 3, during which Wemby also shoved Jalen Brunson, becoming the city\u2019s No. 1 nemesis \u2014 he couldn\u2019t comprehend why the hotel didn\u2019t just have the Spurs buy out the entire building for the night.<\/p>\n

\u201cNot only did they not block out the hotel, but they put us on the same frigging floor as Victor Wembanyama,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n

\u201cWhat sense does that make? If you don\u2019t want anyone around the Spurs, especially Victor, don\u2019t book the penthouse directly next to him. It was a huge mistake on their part.\u201d<\/p>\n

When they checked in, they were never told they would be staying on the same floor at Wemby, or given any warning not to speak to him.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf they had said, \u2018Listen, you\u2019re staying on the same floor as one of the players. You cannot engage with the player. You have to stay in your room until he leaves the premises, we would have been like, \u2018OK, no problem.’\u201d<\/p>\n

The Ritz-Carlton and Wembanyama\u2019s agent did not reply to The Post\u2019s requests for comment.<\/p>\n

Godlewski ended up booking the Trump International on Central Park West for $3,000, so actually saved $17,000.<\/p>\n

But the damage is already done.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy 11-year-old was a huge Wemby fan. He was devastated and couldn\u2019t believe one of his heroes could do this to people. As we were in the car going to the Garden, he said, \u2018Dad, when we get home, can I burn my Wemby jerseys?’\u201d said Godlewski, whose son already burned his $3,500 autographed one.<\/p>\n

Godlewski said he is waiting for an apology from Wemby, and called the Spurs Game 4 loss later that evening a silver lining.<\/p>\n
