A Swedish World Cup fan is falling head over heels for a hidden valley of American flavor.<\/p>\n

Stockholm-native Elsa Thora, 24, touched down in America for the first time in Indiana on June 8 \u2014 and quickly developed a new obsession with ranch dressing.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was amazing. I\u2019ve said to lots of people that I won\u2019t be able to live without it now. I\u2019m gonna either have to try to order some online or make some myself,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t think it exists in Sweden \u2026 I\u2019ve never ever seen it in Sweden, I\u2019ve never seen it in the UK.\u201d<\/p>\n

Thora described the everything dressing as \u201ccrack\u201d and has used it on French fries, burgers, and bacon wrapped tater tots.<\/p>\n

She\u2019s also been charmed by American friendliness.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople just talk to you, like random people, they say \u2018hi\u2019 on the street. It\u2019s been the same in San Francisco, so far, to be fair as well,\u201d she told The Post. \u201cThat does not happen in Sweden at all \u2026 people are very anti-social there, you barely speak to your neighbor.\u201d<\/p>\n

Thora said even small things which Americans take for granted seemed magical.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe school buses are really cool, the firetrucks, obviously the diners are really cool. It\u2019s literally all like the movies, I feel like I\u2019m in a movie right now,\u201d she said, adding that school buses are not used in Sweden.<\/p>\n

She was also shocked to find that Amish people \u201care real,\u201d according to an X post.<\/p>\n

\u201cI saw some Amish people and a horse and carriage, that was kind of crazy,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Thora spent a few days driving through Indiana before heading to San Francisco, and has her sights set on Dallas for Sweden\u2019s June 25 match against Japan \u2014 then the New York City area for the England vs. Panama game on June 27, where she plans to stay through America\u2019s 250th anniversary celebration on July 4<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m really looking forward to the Fourth of July \u2026 I just love how patriotic you guys are as well,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Thora said she would love to make this American dream permanent.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019d love to move to the USA! But it\u2019s so hard for Europeans to move,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Thora is among the World Cup fanatics touring the US who have been going viral for their cultural and culinary excursions.<\/p>\n

German-born influencer Fiago, real name Finn Agostinelli, is touring Chicago and is mesmerized by tailgating.<\/p>\n

\u201cI fell in love with the tailgating before sporting events! We don\u2019t really have that culture in Europe,\u201d he told The Post. \u201cThe atmosphere is beautiful. Everyone invites you to their truck, gives you food and drinks, we made so many new friends!\u201d<\/p>\n

A touring Scotsman who goes by Shaun has had his stomach captured by America.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery Scottish person in America needs to immediately try chicken fried steak, and you\u2019ll realize we and the Americans are kindred spirits,\u201d he wrote on X.<\/p>\n

That caught the attention of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who replied: \u201cHaha chicken fried steak is as Americana as it gets!\u201d<\/p>\n
